This program was used for illegals at the border. They could come in and get notices to appear that averaged 6 years later. By filling out applications, they get
- Work authorization
- Social Security cards
- Access to benefit programs
— 1.3 million on Medicaid
— Thousands are registered to vote
— Many have actually voted
These numbers are still ramping up. All of this is done before they are interviewed.

Trump is leveraging. Bringing manufacturing back doesn't happen, if it happens at all, until his term expires.

Here's what a smidgen of research tells us: For 7 months, the week long trip was in the news. Musk brought them home. That might piss you off... the way it pisses libtards off that DOGE is finding waste and bribes. To the degree they say? Maybe not, but if being dishonest suddenly bothers you... I have to ask why you voted for Biden and tolerated that abortion of an administration for 4-years. All they did was lie.

There are 3 options on the tariffs
1. It's a negotiating position, so manufacturing isn't coming back.
2. It's to bring manufacturing / jobs back to the US, so its not a negotiating position.
3. It's to raise revenue for the government, which ultimately will be paid by Americans through higher prices and jobs are not coming back.

It can't be all 3, or even 2 of the 3. Your position seems to be that Trump and his admin are lying when they say that its about bringing jobs and manufacturing back and you agree with his son (Eric) who says its about negotiating. That's fine. I don't believe crashing the stock market is the way to do that.

You are full of shit on the astronauts. The plan was clearly communicated by NASA and executed on by them, starting on 9/29/24 when the dragon capsule docked with the ISS with only 2 astronauts on board, hence proving 4 seats for the return journey planned for Feb25, and then moved to Mar25. Those are the facts, which you seem to have a problem with, not me.

As for the DOGE findings, why would I have an issue with finding waste & bribes. I think we should reset the budget to 2018 - which I've stated on this thread. That would reduce gov spending by approx. $1.5T annually at the stroke of a pen, then see what maybe goes back in.

There’s no doubt we’ve been getting screwed with the tariffs (see my previous link to the Shellenberger interview for a perspective of how we got to where we are and why it’s not a good place). For policy initiatives, the stated intent and the reality that follows rarely lines up. Californians know this better than anyone. Whatever happens next, it won’t be boring.

Why do I have the feeling the 50% of Americans that don’t own stock might be experiencing a bit of schadenfreude with the market tanking similar to leftists watching Tesla’s burn.
