The two parties in control of the Two-Party System differ on many issues, but they are united on one: making it difficult for a third party to win elections.

I would support a Constitutional Amendment (perhaps several Amendments, one for each issue) that would make the election of the Vice President separate from the election of the President and change some critical Cabinet officers into elected positions (obvious posts include Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Secretary of the Treasury).

I would also support a law to be passed by Congress and signed by the President to disable many of the partisan choices now being made in the government simply by requiring a secret ballot on any question requested by any Member of the House or Senate, respectively (although any Member may choose to disclose his secret vote in the session when the vote is taken).
