I think Musk was told to buy Twitter or else. Same thing happen to Hunter and his Laptop. He was told to turn that crime scene into Mac's place and not come back to pick it up. Mac waited the 90 days, made the calls and no one came. I bet Ashley was told to leave her diary at halfway house. Everyone is doing what their told to do.
