Wasn't it Husker who said he doesn't watch TV news? Based on what he posts, he's getting his news from hyper-partisan meme websites and social media...when he's not just pulling stuff out of his backside. It hadn’t been so long ago that there was significant defense of the MSM here - including several who still post regularly. Yet these two STILL take the most extreme left, gaslighting narratives that the MSM put out there - and now, even beyond what the MSM puts out.
Muppet Joe "Beaker" Scarborough and his whore wife, Mika, crawling up Mar-A-Lago's driveway, told us all we need to know. Those 2 make a combined $16M a year to spew, "fuck you if you can't handle the truth" to Americans on a daily basis. Well, Americans and 15,000,000 illegal aliens Pedo Joe brought here to vote without I.D. because asking for identification is racist. Well, unless you're getting on my plane.Wasn't it Husker who said he doesn't watch TV news? The MSM media doesn't know what to do at this point, report the news or be the voice of the resistance. I saw an article the other day that some are claiming CNN is losing viewership because they aren't going hard enough against Trump. Personally, I think people got tired of CNN, and others like MSNBC, not telling the truth to their viewers. The MSM is desperately trying to stay relevant. That having been said, they all got the same "Elon is President" talking points.
I week or so ago, when Trump gave his press conference, I thought both the press and Trump did a great job. It wasn't adversarial, for the most part, and there were actual substantive questions and answers. Trump has since gone back to some of his trolling ways which I find unnecessary, but often entertaining.
Ironic that they claim Trump is anti-news-media when Biden never talks to them and KJP just lies to them slumped over the lectern avoiding eye contact.
The MSM’s grip on the narrative continues to erode. The extreme left is so delusional they believe they need to double-down on their embrace of their woke religion of Latter Day Marxists. But, advertising pays the bills and viewership is shrinking - for the reasons you mention. Any civility towards Trump is likely in the interest of self-preservation. In some ways, it’s going to make it more difficult to determine what to believe. For the last decade, maybe more, you could pretty much see what narrative the MSM is pushing and know the correct path is the opposite. If they start behaving as journalists again, it might require some thought to get to a reasonable conclusion.Wasn't it Husker who said he doesn't watch TV news? JW FascistsLatter Day Marxists.
Well said. I don't know that "journalism" will ever recover in this day of social media. The decline of journalism started a couple of decades ago when politics started to really influence how news was presented. I look at the Duke lacrosse story as one of the nails in the coffin of journalism. Opinion has become commingled with news, whereas they used to be on separate pages. Now there is such an emphasis on being the first to report a story with the vehicles to self-publish, that accuracy has become largely irrelevant. The other nail in the coffins of journalism was when part of a generation started getting their "news" from the Daily Show and John Stewart, and subsequently the other late night hosts. The MSM’s grip on the narrative continues to erode. Elon sucks at "politics" and Keith hasn't had a real job since 2011.
About 4 years ago my brother said about the US, “We have elevated mental illness to a virtue.” Each year since it has become more obvious.
So is there a race to get the scoop or are they all working off a script using democrats talking points in a consolidated effort? Be careful the maga police are taking notes . . . of course we are all just lazy, faceless, peasants to our billionaire overlords.Well said. Both. It just happens that the MSM is dominated by the left. It has been a consolidated effort, but you're seeing some fracturing. I just don't know if its going continue and stick. So is there a race to get the scoop or are they all working off a script using democrats talking points in a consolidated effort? Aren’t most US newspapers conservative leaning? Which is the most popular cable news network? Who sells more books? I feel that the MSM IS conservative leaning.Both. And most msm are corporatists, like our politicians, simply doing the bidding of the wealthy. None of them are “for the people”, all the left vs right bs is a red herring, an emotional device to distract. But go on.Both. It just happens that the MSM is dominated by the left. No. Fox. No clue. Denial isn't a feeling.Aren’t most US newspapers conservative leaning? Which is the most popular cable news network? Who sells more books? I feel that the MSM IS conservative leaning.
I can't take him seriously. It's mental illness level delusion if he's sincere, gaslighting otherwise. @dad4 is the only one that argues the "other" side on occasion that comes across as authentic.No. Fox. No clue. Denial isn't a feeling.
