Nah, they are sheep in that party - like this guy used to be. His post gets to the heart of where Dems have failed. He echoes something I remember hearing from Elon Musk some time ago about the Woke movement being concerned, not with real virtue, only the appearance of virtue. It was unnecessary, and while I understand the "red meat", too much red meat is bad for you.

But on the flipside, why is the Left such suckers for his trolls? George Will said the other day that Trump is like the the a big rubber hammer that the Doctor uses and the Democrats are a giant knee, they just can't help themselves from reacting reflexively. Case in point.

Neither Trump or the Dems can help themselves.

Because he is POTUS. Plain and simple. We expect more from “the most powerful man in the world”. He is no better than his mythical 400lb man in his mother’s basement putting out hate and false information on the internet. Yet, he is the hero of many. As they applaud his cruelty, hate, division and constant flow of misinformation. His jumping for political points in the immediate afterlife a horrible tragedy is disgraceful to say the least. But by all means cheer him on it’s your right as an American. So this is ‘murica.
 
Kash and Tulsi - impressive. Again, coherence is so refreshing. The right has some intelligent and well-spoken younger “talent”. When i hear most from the left, it reminds me that merit is not their highest value.

So let's review, dipshit. After a moment of silence for the victims, here's what he said... verbatim:

"Thank you very much. I speak to you this morning in an hour of anguish for our nation. Just before 9 pm last night, an American Airlines regional jet carrying 60 passengers and 4 crew collided with an army Blackhawk helicopter carrying 3 military service members over the Potomac River in Washington DC while on final approach to Reagan National Airport. Both aircraft crashed instantly and were immediately submerged into the icy waters of the Potomac. A real tragedy. The massive search and rescue mission was underway throughout the night and leveraging every asset at our disposal. I have to say the local, state, federal military, including the U.S. coast guard in particular, they've done a phenomenal job. So quick, so fast it was mobilized immediately. The work has now shifted to a recovery mission... sadly there are no survivors. This was a dark and excruciating night in our nation's capitol and our nation's history. And a tragedy of terrible proportions. As one nation we grieve for every precious soul that has been taken from us, so suddenly, and we are a country in mourning. It's really shaken a lot of people... including people, very sadly, from other nations who were on the flight. For the family members back in Wichita, Kansas, here in Washington DC and throughout the United States, and in Russia. We have a Russia contingency... some very talented people unfortunately were on that plane. Very very sorry about that. Whose loved ones were aboard the passenger jet, we can only begin to imagine the agony that you're all feeling. Nothing worse. On behalf of the first lady, myself and 340M Americans, our hearts are shattered alongside yours and our prayers are with you now and in the days to come we'll be working diligently."

You expect more? Like what... inviting 15,000,000 illegal aliens here? Shaking hands with invisible people? Promising to build a railroad across an ocean? Calling for his dead assistant? Pardoning his entire family? Extorting Ukraine? Buying votes with U.S. tax dollars? Lying about his credentials? Sniffing kids? How about showering with his preteen daughter?
