100% spot on. It’s 1 coach with a history trail of Southwest Soccer Club, Legends South, Legends Temecula Valley, and a brief stay at Murrieta Soccer Academy (fired recently), who has promised parents for years DA, ECNL, ECRL status each season and never delivered on any of it. But hey, they won back to back National Championships in the NPL (if u really believe that is the national championship then you should join this team!) spending massive amounts of travel money to beat NPL teams that would get crushed by ECNL and, even GA competition. This isn’t really a branch of the club. It’s one coach, that has taken teams from club to club to club. Been fired or push out of everywhere they’ve been and now with no club wanting to take them in the area, has had to get some kind of affiliation from elsewhere.
It’s only Sporting California now, there is no more affiliation with ArsenalWhat is the current relationship between Arsenal FC and Sporting California (and/or Sporting California South)? Instagram and Sporting California's website makes it seem like they are completely separate and Arsenal is a legacy name at this point, though their are some tidbits (e.g. top ECNL coach shows "Sporting California Arsenal ECNL 2019-present).
They will always be Arsenal. I don't like it when people change their names...I will continue to call them by their original name. Same applies to Real So CalIt’s only Sporting California now, there is no more affiliation with Arsenal
We need a thread like that, calling back to original club names & clubs that no longer exist. I believe it was a previous topic on this site, nostalgia to see the names we remember. They will always be Arsenal.
