Is this in competition with EA or an addition to EA?Seems like MLS 2 teams will play in the National Academy League. Not sure about MLS affiliation with that league other than many MLS Next Clubs on the east coast are putting 2nd teams in this league. I would expect a Norcal announcement from this league within the next two weeks.

That sucks for players, though. Because you don't know what you are signing up for.Other announcements have this league playing MLS2 teams elsewhere. It comes down to "what's in a name". It will be clearer to determine when we aren't just comparing press releases and actual games & playoffs are held next season.
Sounds like it is a closed loop Tier 3 League that allows MLS Next clubs a better way to insulate the third teams from being exposed by NorCal NPL teams.That sucks for players, though. Because you don't know what you are signing up for.
