Good first day for the West Region: SoCal 5-1 with only loss to NorCal who was 3-0. Galaxy and Reign turned group A upside down with wins over the top two seeds, VAFC and NYCFC. Beach had a nice win against 2nd seeded Solar setting up a big game with 1st seed TopHat on Monday. Legends won and is heading for a Monday rematch with top seed Cincinnati. Cincinnati beat Legends at the Winter Showcase, 3-0. Surf and LAGSD took care of business. LAGSD May have the tougher road ahead of these two top seeds with CO Rush in the 3rd game. Placer beat the 2nd seed and they face 1st seed Real CO Monday. Only West loss was SoCal Blues to Quakes. On Monday, the Quakes play an Oakwood team that beat 2nd seed IMG.Playoff matchups are set.

Six So Cal teams are represented. Most out of any other region. Two are in the top eight. Personally loving that it’s in our back door.
More impressive results for the West: W/T/L Socal: 9-2-1, NorCal 5-1-0. The Legends won the rematch against top seeded Cincinnati to put themselves in great position to move to quarterfinals. Group A is upside down with Reign and LA Galaxy both beating the top two seeds. They'll play to go through with Galaxy's two convincing wins giving them the tiebreaker. Surf took care of business. Third seed Beach tied top seed TopHat and is still very much alive to move through. Galaxy SD tied Midwest. But, if they beat CO Rush the last game, they'll go through. The Quakes had to grind out a 3-2 win to stay on top of their group and Placer tied top seed Real CO to keep their quarterfinal hopes alive. After two days and 16 games between the West and the other two regions, the West record stands at W/T/L: 13/3/0. The quarterfinals will have a distinctly "western" bias.Good first day for the West Region: SoCal 5-1 with only loss to NorCal who was 3-0. No answer from anyone? This is the scoop I'm hearing bro. Many players from certain GDA clubs in Socal were already calling ECNL clubs during the break. A few were having issues. Also, some ECNL girls tend to quit soccer mid season so all the clubs have a few slots open. With all the calls coming in, many former GDA girls already committed for next year from my intel and even this year were coming over. I would say the top clubs like Legends and Beach will stay with coach.Anyone hearing about former DA players getting scooped up? Staying put with coach?

I would hate that job if I was a club soccer coach and to be honest with you all, I would not call anyone right now. I would email all my contacts ((leads)) with a quick bio of myself and then announcement for tryouts TBA soon. I would also ask if anyone is interested to please send me a video and why you want to play for our club and my team. And vice versa, many GDA players are receiving calls from ECNL coaches.

Wow, that was just a suggestion. That could be very risky but whateverExactly what is being asked of players. I know a few GDA players that have be asked to join ECNL clubs based on game video.
