Get ready folks

What does a year to prepare mean? Does it mean nothing with a hard start in 26/27? Will it be a transition plan throughout 25/26 or a spring switch?
Wish they would come out with a direct plan/message sooner than later either way.
It gives the DOC's an extra year of rethinking their current pyramid schemes. With inflation and now a player shuffle it's the perfect time to increase prices with a realignment. New money is inbound. Those January birthdate parents are going to now learn the hard way about pay to play. September & October birthdays now become the most desirable moving forward especially with the ability to drop down a year. Player movemts going to very interesting throughout the ECNL.

Chaos, Chaos and more Chaos. WHO loses? The kids of course. I watched this in 2016 and what a complete shit show of deceit, lies and poaching (buying) top goats from other clubs. The price to participate in travel ball youth soccer is insane!!! Good luck everyone 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡

Google, what does Chaos mean?

What is the meaning of chaos?

a state of utter confusion or disorder

1. a state of utter confusion or disorder; a total lack of organization or order. 2. any confused, disorderly mass. a chaos of meaningless phrases.

It's a multi billion dollar industry after all with a plastic Mcdonalds toy at the end. Less than point 0.08% will receive a full ride for college soccer. Life is pay to play folks. When will the sheep wake up?

-Give me $360k for a YNT call up.

-Give me $360k for this piece of paper and I'll get you a job interview.

-Give me $350k for tuition and you can have a $10k scholarship to play soccer

Wake up FOOLS...

The Matrix has you...

Trigger warning for Mr. Jones🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

Youth soccer is woven into the fabric of everyone being brainwashed that it's college or bust. Basically, if you don't go to college, you're a loser. That is stupid. True crush story. I worked for a major yellow page company (before Google took over the world of search) and they did not interview anyone without a degree. Well, my pal was #1 rep at a major long distance (before VOIP) carrier and had a buddy that was a manager at Big YP and they made an acceptation to the stupid rule. He was #1 YP rep first year and then snuck me in as well and I became #1 Manager. I changed the hiring process to, "Let's think outside the box Elites." I hired a Jehovah Witness door knocker with no B2B sales experience but knew the residential objections very well. Anyway, she was my #1 rep and then I hired her friend who was also a JW, and she was #2 and they both helped me win President Cup trip. I started getting calls from other managers on what my secret was in hiring. No one quit on me or got fired in two years and we were #1 office out of Riverside. Youth soccer needs to just be about having fun and learning.

Over 4 million gen z kids are jobless over colleges handing out worthless degrees and that number keeps going up but let's keep on holding college showcases to push that American Dream down people's throats.

American Dream in 2025 = Generational Debt

Wonder how many trapped decided not to club hop this year. Most clubs seem to be hush about plans but this winter should get crazy at all levels with movement.
on the boys side mids and olders, outside of the ecnl system and the starters and first off benchers in top tier mls, there’s quite a bit of churn already. If mlsn was going to do it, it would have made more sense to do it this year than to allow more chaos two years in a row.

Most trapped players I’ve spoken with are waiting for next season. Essentially, this year it doesn’t make sense to leave unless you’re positioning yourself to be on that clubs top team for next year.

If MLSN do SY in 26/27, they will shift some Q4 players down in 25/26 to start the transition.

Could the reset to school year possibly make high school ball a bit of an emphasis or no? Asking as a parent as a 6th grade daughter (with a september birthday ho ho ho) but also older boys who play varsity sports other than soccer - its crazy to me how the club world has de-emphasized high school sports - denying kids a big part of the experience in my opinion.

Some girls gave up on soccer or jumped to new team after no offers after spending 20k on travel to showcases. U/19 soccer is the last dance for most.

It’s normal for kids to have a change of heart and priorities as they move to junior high and high school. I played soccer growing up and was good. Played club too. When I got to high school I still played but recreationally. I had more desire to surf, wrestle and doing track and field. You don’t need to spend 20k to feel a certain way about shifting priorities or quitting soccer.

I see you just joined shank bone. Welcome to the forum. No politics, just soccer takes. High School Soccer was forbidden back in 2017-2018 season. All the incoming Fr HS girl soccer players were forewarned in 2017 that the new soccer league that the US Soccer Federation help start told every single girl, "no high school soccer allowed." My little girl wanted to do both. As a parent of a public soccer student, I wanted to know why such harsh rules. No other sport mandated this bullshit "no high school sports allowed if you play in our dumb pay for play league and if dare try and we catch you, you will be kicked out." Insane!!! I'm still SMFH head that this group of youth soccer leaders thought they could pull this off. The girls rebelled but only the private school kids were allowed to do both, not public-school children. I think 99.9% of all the players should be encouraged to play hs soccer with schoolmates and have the community come watch Friday Night HS Soccer.

I think all people should pursue what they are most passionate about. Its best to exit the rate race and do what you enjoy.
