Games of the week....

Pats vs Albion: Close game could either way, give the edge to Albion.
Nomads vs LAUFA, Could be another close one but LAUFA has a lot more offensive so they have the edge 3 goals to something.
Aztecs vs Galaxy. Aztecs might surprise some but Galaxy too much for them on the offensive, Galaxy by 4 goals
Santa Barbara vs Arsenal - Santa Barbara plays a nice style, this one could be another draw but I see SB coming out with the W.
Real socal vs surf. Toss-up if they don't draw surf comes away with the W.

0 Pateadores U-13 1 Albion SC U-13
0 Nomads SC U-13 1 Los Angeles United Futbol Academy U-13
0 Central California Aztecs 7 LA Galaxy U-13

Picks look good for Saturday, how do you know these teams again?

2 Red cards (VC) one for each team in the Nomads vs LAUFA game, what happen in this one?

CSL Gold South-

You see the problem with kickball, it can go either way, it all depends on who's playing it better that day.

Bracket from top to bottom is worthless.

Asking sincerely, have you seen all of these teams play this year?

My sons team has played 3 of them last year at a St Johns Bosco tournament last spring. They weren't kickball games. Hopefully the teams have improved iver the year.

The CSL North might have the stronger teams now.

Actually I have, it's definitely not possession based soccer by any means.

Any team can look like Barcelona against inferior teams.

Doesn't matter which team won.

SCDSL big game of the week will be Slammers Godinez vs. San Diego Soccer Academy Navy on Sunday. Navy has flown under the radar a bit but has done very well in league play with the only blemish being a tie vs a weak Strikers SC team. Navy is a possession team with speed up top. The winner of this one will likely take the league. Which team has developed more from the summer until now?

Look in the bushes when Culchie coaches. Dog will be there. Looks like a jilted lover.
Albion Garton does not play boot ball. Don't take his word for it. Apparently on this forum any branch manager can play CEO.

No connection to either team but it was local so headed out to watch Surf v. RSC. Surf controlled much of the game and the Surf players in general and midfielders in particular have great ball control. RSC defense kept them in there but ultimately they were ultimately worn down by the offensive pressure coming from Surf...2 goals in the second half. Without knowing ages definitely get a sense plenty more older 13s on Surf vs RSC.

5 for 5 on the picks. Yeah try to scout 3-5 games a week but different age groups.
Watch a bunch of videos of the games also.

Albion garton seen some vid:. Coach was a defender so they tend to emphasize that but with only two (2) GF in 7 games obviously need to be a bit more well rounded.

Surf has the younger squad vs RSC. Look at the ussda site has all the roster info fyi.

Not to mention the SD defense is solid and difficult to break down. They need to win this game to have a chance at first, a tie does them no good.
Slammers also possess a stout D and a potent counter attack, in the end, another W for Godinez.

I saw RSC last week against PATS, they played well but they can't finish #19 great player and the keeper kept them in the game with a couple of amazing saves. I know that Surf have a huge defender and a very strong striker(maybe #11)

Why are WE even talking about loser teams, how are they topic related, games of the week?

If they can't finish by now it's more than likely not their position? Size and speed is good at younger ages, but when everyone is of equal athletic ability not so much. This is where skill comes into play.
