Well, at least with Blues Luis is making the drive and paying his fair share. No full rides at Blues and if you sit on the board you don't get to be on the team. It's a system that requires you to be your best all the time or someone will take your spot. It's not free. I will always be proud that Tad and Rob saw enough in my dd that they wanted her to help them be the #1 club in the country (At least that's what some folks say). You have to earn your time or you will be cut at the end of the year. Put all the cream together and see who rises to the top. Good luck to all the teams and if your dd is not on the blues go kick their ass.No livestream of her choosing the Blues hat off the table over Ole and Eagles? I’m a little disappointed.
If this is for real and you aren’t pulling another fast one on us, this thread will be a lot less interesting. Best of luck, the rich get richer, the Blues dynasty continues. Good luck to those not wearing lime and blue next year
Has your daughter been to any training's for any club in OC? Before you leap investigate. Many teams train at OC Great Park. You may want to consider another club or two. OC Surf also has a good program with quality coaches.I have sent details on pm. After researching the clubs in the area, I feel the Blues are the best choice for our family. Thank you.
Curious to know what type of research you did to make your decision? Especially with a lot of teams on Winter Break. This is a big decision, I would listen to LASTMAN on this if you haven't scoped other programs. Good luck to your DD.I have sent details on pm. The Blues Way is a Good Way but not the Only Way. There is a Way that seems right to a dad but in the end it leads to the Wrong Way. Sounds like you did your research and it's a good fit for your dd. Good luck!!!I have sent details on pm. After researching the clubs in the area, I feel the Blues are the best choice for our family. Thank you.
I would only make a quick decision with the Blues. They don't hold their spots open for long. Case in point, where is Luis? I bet he got the call and just like Coach O at LSU, RR tells you he wants you but can't wait too long because he has to tell other goats no mas next year or on to the 2nd best player. Based on not seeing Luis anymore, I think I know what pill he took. Either way Neopolitan, a great competitive game will be played when you play with or against the Blues. Most likely your team will lose especially with #2. Call RR to come play with the other goats if you want to see where you stand.I said they are the best choice for our family as far as my research done on them. I have never been approached by their coach or any scout and just saw Hodari speak highly of them and to be honest seeing Luis going to them and seeing his daughter's skills as a player got me quite curious as to why he decided to go there and not anywhere else. But the decision is not final. I will do some further research on OC Surf, Slammers and see what other programs look promising as well. But I will definitely go to Blues tryouts and see what they are all about in person. I would like to meet their coaches and players as well. I still have time to decide and I'm not going to jump the gun.
I thought that too. @Luis Andres? Neo? I'm so confused. Or someone from Blues Marketing Department is smart at promoting Blues in a positive light? Blues is not Kickball like so many fools told me.Ummm.. I know it was said before, but it surely seems as though @Luis Andres is @neo but just repackaged under a new username after his daughter went to Blues... But I could be wrong...or am I (DUN-DUN-DUUUUUN)
Good point! Do you think that the Eagles fall off or get better? You have to put them in that group too. They have a strong 2010 and 09 Squad (09s won State Cup Back to Back Years)So I’m curious as to hear the thoughts. Everyone saying blues Rennie will be unstoppable this next year. This year it was blues, legends, SDSC, slammers pa as top teams. However they go to 9v9 next year. Looking at past results even this year from Rennie blues 09 he lost 4 games and tied 1 which puts his 09 around middle to lower end of the pack. Does he truly develop teams? Does his recipe of try and recruit the best pay off? His 09 team was a top team but clearly have fallen. Will the same happen with his 10s? Just curious to hear thoughts on this? Obviously blues is a top club In the olders ages but are they kids that ever started in and stayed with the club from the start? Or what clubs are developing these kids that blues recruits?
Eagles will always be good at the youngers ages until players leave for surf, slammers, blues, beachGood point! Do you think that the Eagles fall off or get better? You have to put them in that group too. They have a strong 2010 and 09 Squad (09s won State Cup Back to Back Years)
Geographically they would leave for Real So Cal. Those other clubs are are quite to far. Though Eagles has ECNL in the long run they could keep players.Eagles will always be good at the youngers ages until players leave for surf, slammers, blues, beach
At the older ages, parents and kids go to where will get them their most exposure. Distance, money, etc are not important. But real SoCal is a very good organization as well.Geographically they would leave for Real So Cal. Those other clubs are are quite to far.

My prediction is blues will still be a good team but slammers pa and legends will be the top 2 teams in the 2010 age pool for scdsl next season due to continued development just like it was in the 09 age pool this previous year. Albion and surf also improve by adding SDSC players. Should be a fun year with a lot of change.
Are you willing to say that the 2010s are just more talented than the 2009s relatively speaking?SoftasPillows just trolling Luis. First talking trash on Ole, now on Blues. And he knows Luis can’t respond...well played.
And one point of clarification, as I follow 2009 age group also. The 2009 Blues were never as good as the 2010’s. It isn’t a matter of development why they aren’t one of the top couple teams.
