You're full of sh*t. Makes you very upset? kids can be traumatized? Is that why you went to the trouble of spreading the news around? Lady, if you are going to spread tragic news around, at least copy the information down correctly. Where did you get "two 2011 boys teams"? Is it unfortunate? Yes, but people like you that feign outrage and then spread the information around are just as bad as the two boys that were fighting. At least they can fall back on the fact that they are 11 or 12 years old and don't know better.

GunScare @ Albion Cup?

Just saw mobs of people running towards the parking lot and the farm fields across the street in Temecula. Many fields and games are canceled, kids and parents hiding under cars and behind trees. Some say a fight broke out and someone branished a “gun”. Does anyone have any information? I hope...

Looks like SDSC isn't getting any love from Cal South. They are in bracket E for State Cup, but only teams from brackets AB, C, and D get to move on to the knock out rounds.

You sure?? So B09s are 2011s this year? Is that a one year thing? Do they go back to being 2009s next year? The problem with spreading sh*t around is that those people are more interested in creating drama, panic or excitement that the facts become less important. Taking a tragedy and sensationalizing it helps nobody. Also, so far, nobody has seen or found any type of weapon. So if an idiot created a full on panic scare, why publicize it and cultivate ideas for the whackos out there?

Yes, 2009 are u11 this year and will be u12 next year and u13 the year after that. They still use these “handles”, because of some of the US soccer rules based on number of players, field size, and things like heading. All of which are age regulated.

State Cup is this weekend and good luck to all your DD’s! The last 3 years of 7v7 have been fun and exciting. Can’t wait to finish up 7v7 and begin the new adventure in 9v9 land.

Please post some great memories of your DD’s games or battle with opponents. Looking forward to talking story.

Yeah sorry. Sometimes I have a hard time reading into humor behind a line of text. Also, sorry about what you guys had to go through yesterday. I hope your kids were okay last night. I can't even imagine. My thoughts go out to all the kids and parents that were on the fields that are having to deal with the emotional aftermath.
 
State Cup is "fixed". If Blues playing SDSC in the quarter-finals counts as fixed. I could see Blues throwing their game to Surf and going for a wild card slot. I seem to remember someone saying that is what they did last year.

Not really sure why you feel the need to interject yourself into a conversation that you are not a part of and not sure why you are insisting that Boys 2009s are boys 2011s. You clearly misunderstand the argument. It was a boys 2009 team, I think we can all agree. The poster that I responded to said they were boys 2011. (you could just scroll back up and see for yourself....and then send me an apology). Yes, they are ten, going on 11 year old boys but by definition, they are not Boys 2011s. What is so hard about that to understand? What are you getting by insisting otherwise? Like I said originally, turns out it was much ado about nothing. Two boys got into a fight, a guy grabbed his backpack, and grown adults panicked. It is what it is. When I was a kid, we fought all the time. Now days, it is so rare that people don't even know what to do or how to react.

I'm not sure wether if they were 2011's or u11's matters. The point is that it happened. Initially it was said it was a 2011 team but then someone else clarified it was a u11 team. I'm not here to argue about the age group either. The point is that it's official and not a rumor.

Hey Classic Asshole....does it matter if they are 9, 10 or even 15 year olds? Who’s arguing just to argue? We live in a society where crazy fucks shoot up public places for far less than a soccer game. You can down play it all you want. People were running for their lives yesterday. They didn’t know whether the threat was real or not. At that moment people were terrified and for good reason.

U11 means under 11 so 10 yrs old and younger. Same as kids playing in 2009 age bracket, 10 yr olds.... 2009, u11 team.
