I just signed up for this forum, but I have been off and on reading the threads re: “What Happened to THE Luis Andres” and “G2010 season” after sadly hearing from several people about his commentary here. As much as I wanted to avoid address Andres on this forum, it is finally necessary. I am a mom on the team who doesn’t need a secret aka name to disguise my identity.
Andres, you and I have had our exchanges since 2018 especially on how you handle things with your off the field antics. Although I’m sure the viewers rate would sky rocket if I listed all of the incidents/details, I won’t draw more negative attention to our team. You apologized, but continue to do what you do which has led you not being allowed on the field anymore and having to watch the games being recorded. You continue to be an embarrassment to our team. You come on this forum to critique our coach and players. While we are privileged to live in a country with freedom of speech and that is your right, it doesn’t make what you say right. Maybe I haven't been on here enough, but I have noticed you are the only one who calls out players and places blames. For example, you recently blamed our player who was out for 1.5 months for our loss against the Eagles or saying that our girls choked during the PKs against the Eagles is WRONG! You blaming our last defenders against the Blues (before you edited this post) is WRONG! You have said one to many times on his form that our girls “choked”. Do you even know the meaning of choking? Choking is when you do the same thing over and over again to almost perfection, all day every day, but when it comes to pressure, you break mentality. Professional players choke. These are 8-9 girls you are talking about. We win as a team and lose as a team. Making mistakes is part of the learning process. How about you simply give credit to the other teams versus blaming subs, defenders, our goalie? You honestly don’t get it and I know I’m wasting my time addressing you, but bottom-line I want all the members on this forum to know that no one on our team respects Andres’ and his way of thinking. Our girls work too hard (and so do our parents) to get a bad reputation because of one bad seed. Our parents respect our coach and support the team win or lose. Blaming doesn’t accomplish anything other than being cancerous to the team.
