Albion SC (East County specifically)

Just speculation, but seems Noah is stretching Ale thin in a hurry. He's been calling on all EA and EA2 non commits putting the pressure on.
And not without success... EA2 is shrinking in real time. Dropped 2 just this morning, and I am aware of a couple of others that are on their way out, just waiting to get official commitment from another club.

No. We will try at sporting again tonight, but maybe this is a sign to stop paying high fees for a kids game
Honestly, with all the mixing of players and teams due to the age cut-off change, most placements are going to be based on clubs filling out as many teams as they can, with nothing to do with the players abilities. There are going to be a lot of mistakes. I would not get locked into a spot at this point based on the feeling of being left out. If you do not commit to a team or club, you are free to go practice with any coach who will let you. Most coaches will be trying to fix the roster mistakes they made in this chaos over the summer; I bet everyone you ask will let them come to practices. Your player may get a later start to the season this year, but I would hold back, and start going to practices of teams you think will fit. They can add you at any point in the season, and no way the clubs maxed out the rosters this year knowing they will need to make adjustment throughout the year based on the large amount of shifts.

This is certainly possible. Although seeing club’s over-fill their rosters knowing they’ll have some drops. Also plenty of players in limbo still waiting for an offer. Guessing most letter leagues will be targeting 21-24 player rosters for olders.

They must think they had a bumper crop at tryouts. I'm hearing they're calling kids offering spots on a Flight 1 BU15 team. The website also now shows an EC Academy team again, but the app does not. Sounds like MM's old Academy team, but hard to see where they get the kids (and coaching bandwidth--the website lists CR as coach, but he already has four teams, all at Robb, so unclear how he could manage an EC squad on top).

Definitely seems like they are stretching the staff thin...

Thank you. WE may do that.

That's apparently the plan for the Robb Academy team. Not sure how SoCal hands out slots at the various flights, but presumably the club can repurpose MM's EC Academy slot from last year. That said, no idea why they think a mid-level Flight 3 team will suddenly transform into an F1 squad, especially since they didn't move any B11s down onto the roster. A semi-final run in the State Cup is nice and all, but SN's F2 squad beat them handily when they met in January.

F1 may be the new F2 or F3 given all the ea2 and N1 slots coming
