Albion SC (East County specifically)

All the 2012 teams scrimmaged before the Albion Showcase. The EC EA2 team performed VERY well in those scrimmages compared to the other 2 lower teams.
I believe the current iteration of EC EA2 is a mix of players that stuck around Albion after Jason and Mike left for City and took a mix of EA2 and flight 1 players with them.

Not sure how Crusader's boys teams are.
Last year they had a very solid 2010 that played EA2 under CVFC.

When they didn't get to keep that or go to EA their top players left.

The EA2 team is heads and shoulders above all 3 Academy teams Albion fields at that age group. They also won head-to-head against the EA squad, but that squad was previously playing EA2 and was rebadged as EA when MM brought his EC crew to Albion and was given the EA2 slot. Honestly, the "correct" thing for Albion to do is to send their B12 EA team back to EA2 and assemble an EA squad out of the remnants of the EC EA2 roster and the MLSN kids that get pushed down after moving some of the truly excellent EC players onto those rosters.

But we all know parents will just go packing if their kids are "sent down" a level, so that would never happen.

I think the likely scenario is to move a couple players around to finish Spring Season (if they stay) and then re-boot the AD, EA & EA2 teams with the age matrix change.

There is going to be age group training this month for the new 11/12 player pool.
Hopefully gives the EC 12s chance to be seen by the MLSn coaches
Many of the girls GA and GAA teams have been doing this already for the past few weeks for age groups not in High School. Think they've had 3-4 sessions already. Wonder what's delaying the boys side.
