04s - Games of the Week

Blues Kale 2 - Blues Dido 0 (Final)
It was bound to happen eventually. Dido loses many players to Surf after losing in State Cup to Strikers. Kale's with a chip on their shoulder called second team. One team on the rise another on the decline. Was really shocked Blues kept Dido at this age group. If they had a different coach I'm guessing many of the players stay and not go to Surf. Great win for Kale congrats. With that being said Dido's team will be stronger at end of season.

Congrats Kale! Great win! I hope they can continue a winning momentum for the entire season. Dido lost many players to Surf and 1 of their best players is playing up at 03 Blues ecnl who scored all their goals for the Team. Rebuilding year for Dido. Go Kale!!

Maybe get the facts straight-- yes, one of the best 04 players is playing up, and she is an exceptional forward who is playing up because she can... However, last season, she was injured most all of the season, hence did not score "all their goals for the Team." That team was loaded, and the other top goal scorers last season were actually 05s. Yes, they have exited but not to Surf. One of them went to a boys' USSDA team, (the top scorer), another is dual rostered with Blues 05s and 03s, and the other I heard went to Beach FC right before the freeze-- and then they won Blues Cup. Hm. Two of those 05s lived a million miles away, so not sure but that may have had something to do with it. Most of the players who went to Surf were never on that team, they were on the olders team.

PS- The 04s coach also coaches a successful WPSL team and was coach of the year last year in that league- he is well-respected in college circles to or so I hear.

LA Premier really struggling in Silver Elite. They're 0-3, with no goals for and 18 against. From what I heard their old U-12 was heavy on the 03's and it's showing. Their academy tryouts are going to be very interesting.

Yes. I think you will find that the Silver divisions are just as good (it is really close) as the Silver-Elite divisions this year.
