Today in Fascism

"We" killed them and their animals. Please speak for yourself. If you got white guilt, thats on you and your family.
My bad. "We" is officially corrected to be "Some of our American ancestors, some of who are white, but not implying that the reader is white or directly related to said American ancestors".

Of course they did. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Thanks bro. The Spainards were here before the British. I lived in Guatemala for a year, up in Lake Atitlan, Mayan country. I heard the stories from the locals. Spain made a deal with the King and then we all know what happen to millions of natives. Many of them went up to Lake Atitaln and live their today. The most loving people I lived with. They treated me like family. Lets not blame anyone but the ones who did the killing.

"Burn a cross and get reinburst and then have sex with a boss" These are nasty and sick people. They start the lie, raise money on the lie and then destroy peoples lives. The party of espola is no joke. They hate MAGA, crush, T and anyone asking questions on how and why they cheat. I spoke to a few of these punks that stole youth soccer in SoCal. Arrogant punks with a lot of power back in the day. Total fraud and losers today!!

Right in my own back yard

Today, Jamshid Ghomi, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen who lives in a $35 million mansion in Orange County, California, was arrested on a federal criminal complaint charging him with selling computer technology to Iranian companies and Iran’s government — including technology to help with Iran’s military and nuclear program.

These allegations assert that the defendant violated U.S. sanctions against Iran, aided one of our nation’s enemies, supported Iran’s nuclear program, and got rich doing it. Not only is he being arrested today, but we also are beginning the process of seizing his mansion, which was purchased with his illegal proceeds. Thanks to the work of @USAttyEssayli’s office, @CommerceGov, and @IRS_CI’s Los Angeles Field Office, he will face the full force of justice.

I have zero guilt, also not about to crucify another country for it like some on here are doing.
To be honest before we got here they were killing other tribes. They have a long history of brutally subjugating or slaughtering other tribes.

It wasn't any peace festival here before the Euros arrived.

And this has been the history of man throughout history at any place around the world. No matter where you go in the world you are sitting on land that was conquered from another group. So the stolen land thing is such a stupid thing libs in the US and Canada do.

Is this what people were calling "attacking the messenger" earlier in this thread?

What did they get wrong?
You either are dumb or pretend to be dumb all the time. I think it is a combo of both.

Non profits run by people from one political viewpoint are not non partisan.

I'm starting to think some real smart beings know how our brains, mind and egos work and they make up lies for us to hate each other and then kill each other in these banker wars. Banks loan the cash to both sides and then winner takes the land and the banks take the money. If wars end, banks end.

4. One Man Got the Mortgage System and the Spy Agencies. Watch the Thread.

🎬 THE CLIP

On June 2, Trump named Bill Pulte acting Director of National Intelligence, while Pulte keeps running the Federal Housing Finance Agency and chairing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. A central pillar of the American mortgage system and the office that oversees all 18 intelligence agencies, in one man. The acting role skips Senate confirmation and can run up to 210 days. Trump described Pulte as managing more than $10 trillion at Fannie and Freddie.

And it did not arrive alone. On May 28, Bessent described the new Federal Reserve under chairman Kevin Warsh, said the Treasury Secretary and Fed chair now share weekly meals (”a home game and an away game”), floated a $250 bill carrying Trump’s face explained through seigniorage (currency as an interest-free loan to the government), and pitched the new Trump accounts that seed $1,000 of index funds into every child born during the term.

📜 THE RECORD

The System That Owns You. How It Was Built. Why It’s Breaking.

That article starts with salt, because money at its foundation is whatever a society cannot live without. Whoever controls that controls the people. Salt, then gold, then paper, then digits. Each version more abstract, more dependent on trust, more vulnerable to the people who run the institutions.

Then it lays out the split made at Bretton Woods in 1944. The United States got control of money. London kept control of what money buys. The Federal Reserve was built as the Bank of England’s American branch, designed in 1910 on Jekyll Island under cover of a duck hunt.

And it names the thing to watch. When commodity pricing starts moving from London to New York, and the Fed’s independence is contested at the same time, those are not separate events. They are two pulls on the same thread.

🔗 THE SEQUENCE

Now count the pulls. This week alone: the mortgage system and intelligence fused in one man. A Treasury Secretary lunching with the new Fed chair every week. A currency proposal that turns the dollar into a branded government loan. Gold sitting near record highs while physical metal flows east, out of London’s vaults.

Every one of those is a hand on the same thread the article told you to watch. Money, credit, pricing, and now the data that watches you, all moving at once and into fewer hands.

Here is the open question, and I am not going to answer it for you. Is this the system finally breaking free of London, or is it the same system changing owners? The architecture is moving. That part is real. Which way it points is the thing to argue about. Watch the thread.

There was a time not long ago (2012) where the NY Times was concerned about mail in ballots due to fraud.

Yet votes cast by mail are less likely to be counted, more likely to be compromised and more likely to be contested than those cast in a voting booth, statistics show. Election officials reject almost 2 percent of ballots cast by mail, double the rate for in-person voting.

“The more people you force to vote by mail,” Mr. Sancho said, “the more invalid ballots you will generate.”
-
Voting by mail is now common enough and problematic enough that election experts say there have been multiple elections in which no one can say with confidence which candidate was the deserved winner.
--
There is a bipartisan consensus that voting by mail, whatever its impact, is more easily abused than other forms. In a 2005 report signed by President Jimmy Carter and James A. Baker III, who served as secretary of state under the first President George Bush, the Commission on Federal Election Reform concluded, “Absentee ballots remain the largest source of potential voter fraud.”
---
On the most basic level, absentee voting replaces the oversight that exists at polling places with something akin to an honor system.

“Absentee voting is to voting in person,” Judge Richard A. Posner of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has written, “as a take-home exam is to a proctored one.”
--
Election administrators have a shorthand name for a central weakness of voting by mail. They call it granny farming.

“The problem,” said Murray A. Greenberg, a former county attorney in Miami, “is really with the collection of absentee ballots at the senior citizen centers.” In Florida, people affiliated with political campaigns “help people vote absentee,” he said. “And help is in quotation marks.”
--
Election law experts say that pulling off in-person voter fraud on a scale large enough to swing an election, with scores if not hundreds of people committing a felony in public by pretending to be someone else, is hard to imagine, to say nothing of exceptionally risky.

There are much simpler and more effective alternatives to commit fraud on such a scale, said Heather Gerken, a law professor at Yale.

“You could steal some absentee ballots or stuff a ballot box or bribe an election administrator or fiddle with an electronic voting machine,” she said. That explains, she said, “why all the evidence of stolen elections involves absentee ballots and the like.”
