Michigan on their fronnt foot the entire game and Surf playing out of the back (perhaps unwisely) made a blind pass right to the Hawk forward for an easy goal. Everyone knows how Surf plays. Possession is one thing but their patterns of play are downright predictable. Surf has never had a athletically dominant group but they have top players playing attractive posession soccer. I would had predictable posession soccer to the previous sentence. Tape is out there, need to be more flexible especially with athletic teams that just punish your mistakes. Its not u13 anymore. No excuses as they continue to poach from other rosters nationally. Congrats Hawks! Look out for Stars on the bottom half of the bracket to make it to Final 4 and make it awkward for the CA team that makes that game. Solar vs Koge in semi-finals is the final this year. Please Solar end this Koge assault on attractive soccer.

Pressure the center backs who like to hold onto the ball too long. That's how you beat that team.

Sd surf is the quality team. But has fallen short the last two years. Solar should never be counted out due to their quality and free spirited persona. Bay Surf is a real possibility. Koge is a “futbol” team. Not sure what games you’ve been watching. So cal is filled with great teams.
