How’s the 2024-2025 season going?

Probably not the age group you are looking to watch but the Cincinnati United G2012 team is really talented. I'd put them up against any of the top teams in socal (Surf, Blues, Slammers). Not sure what their schedule is looking like though.

If you want to see the top socal GA teams they'll be at Surf Cup and possibly Blues Cup later this summer. Im sure all the big ECNL teams will be at Surf Cup as well.

Right now both leagues are in hibernation / prep mode until after finals in July.

In SD for beer with teams I like to stay central and on the coast https://www.viewpointbrewing.com/ is right by the Polo Fields but can get busy. https://www.pizzaport.com/ in Solana Beach and Carlsbad are nice but more north San Diego.

The GA playoffs starting June 19th are far from hibernation. It's the top 2 teams in each conference competing against each other.

What about at Silverlakes? GA playoffs in Norco, CA, June 19-24, 2025

One team you might want to watch is Tophat's 09 team. They have a great player (Bristol Kirsch)

Ahh, that's what I was hinting about when I said prepping for finals. Guess I should have been more clear since I believe Finals are technically in Virginia.

GA 2010 teams to watch are...
- Top Hat / plays direct with speed and power and can switch to possession well coached.
- City / Possiession well coached
- FRAM / Power and Posession well coached
- Broomfield / Very well coached
- NEFC / Posession
- Galaxy / Not really sure

I’d imagine teams who have NL teams that didn’t make playoffs will likely bring NL players to help.

California Odyssey got offered the NL spot for expansion so their RL team is essentially the ECNL team (a few of those players are DPs with Bay Area Surf).

Favorite for the Bracket B final are Beach and California Odyssey. The dark horses are Legends RL and Legends RL S Cal

In Bracket A the favorite is Slammers and Stanislus with the dark horse being LAFC and Blues.

Slammers FC is favored to take it in Virginia

So, if their NL and their team is not in playoffs, then they can go to regional and Virginia. If they’re in playoffs, then for regional yes (Norco and San Diego), but in Virginia, no (unless they decided to not play for their NL team).

Thinking that MVLA is pleased to not face SD Surf in group as they did in 2024. Definitely made for "the long way round".....

Otherwise, tears for PDA Blue, FC Prime, Minn Thunder, LA Breakers, SUSA, P. Thorns, SLSG Green, Scorpions, Charlotte, Sting, Eclipse.

It is probably for the best for both MVLA and SD Surf, giants should duke it out at knockout rounds. For our SW teams, I think LA Breakers and Blues have it the toughest.

The U16s tied all the 3 games. I talked a buddy from Spain that watched the games. Sounds like the U16s have some work to do. He said the games were publicly recorded.

I asked about the 15s but haven't seen a response.

the US hasn't posted anything at all so that might be an indiction right there of how things are going. They usually get the 4-0 scores up pretty quick.

I believe the U15s tied both games as well. The Germany game was aired on YouTube live by the channel @DFB-Verband.
