Got it. My position is that it is not beneficial to review bad video. Maybe if my player gets the same support as the 2005 player it’ll be worthwhile to record and review the video. Sure hope USSF fixes this soon.i didn’t know you live in Mexico…Mexico is now World Class…you sure know your futbol
you are trolling so much you forget what you troll about…you brought up Mexico, and how the culture there is not the same…really, thanks for the brilliant insight!
If you are saying the culture isn’t the same in Mexico because they don’t use video, I’m telling you, that you need to look at country’s that produce world class players
I get that film is important. We just need to find a team that can play 2-touch for 90 minutes for the experience to be specific enough to meet our developmental goals.
I don’t see how watching film with players that are uncomfortable on the ball is beneficial.
Another bad and not so insightful response. I am here to help so don’t worry. Bad video is actually the best video to review!! You seem intelligent so it’s hard for me to understand why you’d even say that. You have even mentioned failure is part of development.Got it. Starting to get a good playlist of old school West Coast rappers though!! DJ Quik is solidYeah, starting to think that.
Tell that to the pros in every league except MLS. Speed of play and 2-touch are synonymous; also a huge factor in determining who has the requisite skill set to play fast and excel professionally.thats actually a good question. I’m not sure you want an answer but I’m going to tell you anyway.
First of all no team plays 2 touch the entire game. The purpose of 2 touch is to be able to get out of situations. That’s were Rondos and quick touches come into play. No need to play two touch soccer when you have no pressure, that doesn’t even make sense. So, you teach tactics to explain when you need to find solutions and play out of situations using 2 touches, but that is just a small part of the game.
The purpose of 2 touch is to teach kids how to find solutions when they are in trouble or are outnumbered. They need to learn tactically how to create numerical advantages and understand what patterns to run when they see situations in front of them on the field
No the video isn’t relevant and doesn’t have proper context pal.Another bad and not so insightful response. I am here to help so don’t worry. Bad video is actually the best video to review!! You seem intelligent so it’s hard for me to understand why you’d even say that. You have even mentioned failure is part of development.
What better way to explain why they failed than to watch it on film and show them what they could have done to correct it….or better yet, show them the video and ask them what they could have done to correct it…that’s teaching!!!
No doubt. No dog in it either and yeah, its weaponized in AZ as there isn't 9 potential YNT players on those teams, excluding their respective best players!
That’s funny…I don’t even count MLS as a top tier league…remember we are talking world class! Look up what that means in the soccer world.Tell that to the pros in every league except MLS. Speed of play and 2-touch are synonymous; also a huge factor in determining who has the requisite skill set to play fast and excel professionally.
Are you sure you understand? It kind of felt like you were reading a passage verbatim from coaching for dummies.
No, you are talking world class. I am talking equal opportunity so my player can maximize her potential whatever that may be.That’s funny…I don’t even count MLS as a top tier league…remember we are talking world class! Look up what that means in the soccer world.
Tell what to pros? That 2 touch and tactics are not the same thing? Haha they aren’t!! I am curious now though, what exactly is your definition of 2 touch…maybe you dont really understand what that means
I was trying to give you a simple underarm if of soccer since it was becoming. evident you didn’t know what you were talking about
Funny. Film review and tactics for 10-12 year olds.
Don’t defect again…what is your definition of 2 touch? that was what we were talking about. You brought up the top leagues and how they play…you don’t even make sense…you are talking about world class players and teams but then all of a sudden that becomes irrelevant when you talk about equal opportunity. What? So anyway, what is your definition of 2 touchNo, you are talking world class. I am talking equal opportunity so my player can maximize her potential whatever that may be.
Peep game square. There were some laughable selections for the Norcal ID camp. Don’t make start roasting folks…I’m trying to be cool.Your daughter is U15. Learning from game film is pretty standard at that age for top level teams. At least it is in my experience from U13 on up. I am genuinely stunned a professional setup like Xolos ignored it.
How do you expect your daughter to get the YNT spot and Nike contract you believe she is entitled to if no game film exists, you refuse to participate in any ID sessions (or weren't invited but "didn't fancy it anyway"), and she is far too advanced to waste time slumming around with any ECNL teams?
You can't seriously be relying on positive camp feedback from a couple of college coaches and a sternly worded letter from dad to USSF scouts.
You are obviously just trolling everyone at this point. I wish your daughter luck on her journey.
Playing victim and race cards is easier, it's how he rolls. The most simple explanation for this is that USSF did not (and still does not) view your daughter as a unicorn worthy of such special treatment.
No shame in that. Just about every other player in the country has had the same reckoning.
If it bothers her (and not just her dad), I recommend you guys simply put that energy into using it as motivation to prove them wrong. Easiest way to do that is through the established process. Go jump in and dominate.
Yah….both my DD’s teams started at u14 reviewing clips and film the Coach prepared for the team.Funny. Film review and tactics for 10-12 year olds.

we are talking about equal opportunity pal. I don’t think film review is appropriate for an 11 year old and that’s is the focus of the inequity. Funny, how you refuse to elaborate on the inequity.
Once he said he didn’t think film was a valuable tool at that age it was clear he is full of it and doesn’t know what he is talking about. I don’t believe any of his lies, he just wants to waste people time…I actually thought he was sincere for a minuteYah….both my DD’s teams started at u14 reviewing clips and film the Coach prepared for the team.
I take it you have no idea who Marcus Dupree is? And never saw him play....but liked the title?I found video of the player in question, it was difficult but I found it:
