you forgot Slammers HB Crowley and Empire naming teams w/special players. i'm of the opinion the best player outside of blues or surf plays on crowley HB.

Well so far it looks like three Slammers teams are still in (not sure which team you were talking about; CDA Slammers, Sporting Slammers, or Slammers Slammers :)), Surf has shown well and will be playing Beach today, so we will see who survives. Rebels didn't take the leap.

Well todays round of 8 has the following match-ups from your original list, which is interesting: #2 vs #3, #11 vs #1, #7 vs #5, #4 vs #46 (the underdog). Of the Remaining 8 teams, 6 of them were ranked in the top 8 at the beginning of pool play. Although I am already impressed, if the round of 4 ends up with teams that were all originally ranked in the top 5 I will amazed.
 
Semi-final teams of the Super Bracket: CDA Slammers HB Elite, San Diego Surf Academy, Empire SC, and Blues Lime. Congrats to all of the teams that made it into the semis.
 
Elite Bracket semi-final teams: Rangers FC (#1), Sand and Surf SC Elite (#4), Legend Temecula Valley (#3), and SDSC Surf Pre-GA (#7). The numbers represent the ranking order jobronibeater posted from the Soccer Rankings app when the State Cup brackets were released. Not too bad for a predictor of teams performance.
 
Did Surf win in a shootout vs Beach, hard to believe Surf would have given up 3 goals

I don’t think there are any surprises in either Super or Elite Cup.

Elite Cup semis , all 4 teams played F1 in the fall. Those games could go either way, but if I had to guess I’d say it will be Legends v Rangers final
 
Round of 16 predictions were very close. Two results outside of 1 GD (Rebels & Beach). Accurate winner picked in nearly every game. Only upsets were Empire beating Rebels and Sporting Slammers beating Blues Shelton.

Still - all the teams that it thought would win did except for Slammers AW who was slightly favored over Empire.

GD was within 1 on only 4 of the predicted 8 (50%) as opposed to the Round of 16 where 14/16 were within 1 (87.5%)
