Haven't seen any of those team play this seasons yet but for those teams that already qualified and just playing for #1 or #2 placement are they going to go all out? or maybe change things up? some starter resting, coming on later if needed, give some more playing time to subs especially with the bigger rosters. Does it really matter much what team you play next?

It does matter....Players and coaches always want to win, if they didn't they would still be playing in recreational/ AYSO for the fun of playing without paying the $3,500 fee's.

I've known more than a couple AYSO coaches who want to win also.:)

Chula Vista FC - B2003 0 vs. Fullerton Rangers B03 White 2
TFA - SD (B03) 5 vs. DMS 11 Academy - B2003 3
LAGSD B03 Elite-Ritchie 3 vs. CDA FC Slammers - HB B03 Reserves 0
Pateadores LA B2003 2 vs. Downtown SC B03 1
Laguna United FC-B2003-Blue 2 vs. Oxnard United Soccer Club 2
Hawks B2003 Academy 0 vs. Boca Orange County - B2003 1
Valley United - Delgado 3 vs. FRAM B03-Britton 1
Rebels Soccer Club - B03 Elite 6 vs. FC Heat B2003 BLUE 0

Watched the Pats-LA - Downtown SC. Downtown SC has 3 super talented kids, super competitive and passionate, but they hurt themselves with unecessary extras in plays. Holding and pulling when they have some one pressed to sideline, and then talking back when they get called on it. Talented team that hurts themselves.

Something else looks up with Vargas. All 3 of their games are now forfeited.

Someone was saying they got caught cheating overage players! Honestly I don’t think is the truth tho!!
Either way! If the coach forfeit is a shame.
No sportsmanship whatsoever!

I did hear the same thing.
Didn’t they play two games and had a score?
I do not know the rules, but does look strange to go back and 1-0 on all games.

What do they say, if it sounds like a duck, walks like a duck........

Honestly have no clue on the Vargas thing. Other CDA teams have had his players coming out to their trainings the past couple weeks.

Not sure what is happening on the Cerritos side

It's a shame that Vargas is out of the Tourney as they were poised to make a deep run... They played 8 out of the remaining 16 teams with a record of 6 Wins and 2 Draws (incl a 5 to 0 win over Laguna in the SCDSL Playoff Finals). They had 7 players injured during the National Cup (broken legs, broken ankles, knees, ribs etc...) which left them with only 9 healthy players for their 3rd game vs Celtics. The Refs were not protecting their players from cheap shots. This team will bounce back....

Did the team, DOC complain to the, Ref director, tournament director? That is a lot of serious injuries to occur over the course of 2 weekends game. How many Red Cards were issued. Hope the kids recover quickly.

Jesus. Sounds like an MMA fight. Is there video? Seen one game (not ours) with 2 broken wrists but nothing like you describe

Yes, I heard the Coach had lodged complaints to both CalSouth as well as the Referee's Commission regarding their National Cup games. I was able to secure this video which shows a complete disregard for player safety by the Juventus player after he was clearly beaten. NOTE: NO card was issued by the ref for this dangerous infraction. This player still is NOT walking... smh.

Sorry the file "type" was incompatible with this website so here is a direct link to view the video:

Good luck this weekend to those who are still "in it" to "win it" :)
