Whats next for SO CAL Soccer?

So the LTP movement got kids playing somewhat of a HS season and we are having some sort of league play--but not really. Still no tournaments, correct? So no Man City Cup/Surf this summer? Where does this leave us for next season? For my ECNL kid will just be playing local games again?

I had a week of hopefulness but that is waning.

There are tournaments listed on the Calsouth website.

Smaller ones than what you're asking about, but it seems that they're starting to schedule them.

There needs to be a changes in the state CDPH guidance and with county heath depts for local tournaments to happen.

CS sanctioning a tournament is just one step in the process, there are several parties involved to make those happen.

Out of state tournaments will continue on if the state, counties, and locals don't permit them. Man City Utah or whatever could happen.

Hopefully there will eventually be some of the needed changes to permit local tournaments to some degree but don't be surprised if it's limited attendance and not just open like they used to be.
