Weak sauce from MLS Next teams

It's weird to see an MLS team there, but it's just a showcase. A bunch of teams dropped out, after attending the earlier weekends for the event, and Norcal was scrambling to find teams to complete the games. This was the 2nd or 3rd year Norcal has run this event, and it's "free". There's no additional tournament or any other fee for it, and was mostly intended for ECNL-RL teams. First weekend was in Aug (8/16-8/17), next weekend was in Mar (3/7-3/8), and the final weekend was this past weekend. Everyone entered the tournament on a level playing field back in August, but those that did not qualify for playoffs went to the showcase bracket instead (where this MLS team was playing). I wish they would just post the results of the finals, to confirm whether that very impressive Folsom Lake RL 2011B team (entering ECNL in the fall), ended up winning the final. One of our teams had to play another team at a different older age group when our initial opponents dropped out entirely.
