This is instructive. The comments reveal many people misdiagnose the problem. What’s described below in Africa has a parallel happening in the West in front of our eyes. This behavior is not specific to race or geography. The idea that it’s “race” is disproven by the millions of successful individuals of African descent that are successful in America. The same way the gift of these wells is not maintained, the West has not maintained the gifts spawned by individual freedom from a dictatorial state - unprecedented growth and prosperity. For many years, our educational system stopped teaching our children to think. It gives them no context as to how we got to our current state of relative prosperity. So, they are willing to join power hungry tyrants and foul the well of freedom that raised our species out of the economic misery and the deaths of millions that government control inevitably brings.
