Trump is chopping down DC’s historic cherry blossom trees in direct violation of a judge's order to stop.

These aren't just any trees. Japan gave the United States thousands of cherry blossom trees back in 1912 as a gift of friendship. Some of the ones just cut down were part of that original gift — over a century old.

Trump wants to bulldoze the park to build himself a fancy new golf course, one nice enough to host the US Open. So he canceled the lease of the nonprofit that ran the public course for decades and handed it to his own Interior Department instead.

Preservationists sued in February, arguing the plan violates the 1897 law that created the park "for the recreation and the pleasure of the people."

He obviously doesn't care about that.

A federal judge is overseeing the lawsuit against this project. Back in May, she ordered the administration not to remove more than 10 trees without warning her first, and told them there would be "serious consequences" for acting first and asking forgiveness later.

They ignored her. The National Park Service now says 306 trees have come down for the project. More than 60 in just the last few weeks. No notice was filed.

And here's the kicker: this is the same site where Trump's crews have been dumping truckloads of debris from tearing down the White House East Wing. That soil has since tested positive for mercury and lead.

DC has almost 4k cherry trees spread out around the city.

They are not putting in a golf course. They are renovating the current course.

Out of that close to 4k cherry trees around DC, it looks like the course renovation cut down between 60-100 trees.

It is another nothing burger.

But you are spoon fed your daily dose of manufactured outrage...and like a clapping seal got angry.

Angry over nothing you have ever thought about before...and will forget about in a day or 2.

The stuff they have to pound on to appease the appetite of ther their mentally ill, TDS-addled core constituency is astoundingly trivial. How broken are the minds of their supporters that this is what triggers them?

It is amazingly trivial. And they move from one outrage to another.

The idea is to keep them angry.

East wing of the White House? Nobody ever thought about it before. When they take photos of the White House or film it for news, etc. They only ever show the White House. One never sees the west wing or the east wing. But since T is doing the remodel NOW they worry about something they have never once thought or even cared about.

I wonder what the next outrage will be. I wont have to wonder long though. The fever swamps will belch out something new and Husker will let us all know what he is currently mad about.

On a side note: He actually posted in the last day or so that Kamala would have been a good president.
