I don't disagree, but most religions don't have issues with the abuse of women that Islam does (or the Catholic church has with the abuse of boys). You seem to have the El Sayed standard for comparative reasoning where circumsicion is the same as gender reassignment surgery.

god of the Old Testamemt was harsh to say the least. Jeshua only said that he and the FATHER are not of this world. OT Yahwee is pissed off all the time and does not even come close to Jeshua. Big time contradiction between OT god and The Father.

If the typical immigrant to the UK was from Scandinavia or Canada for instance, they would not be publishing those pamphlets to give out to the immigrants.

However the immigrants they are dealing with come from countries where the culture, defined by Islamic norms allows such abuses.

Back to Islam, the issue has more to due with power and dominance than it does sex. The limitation of the rights of women is institutionalized even in moderate Islam countries. It was less than a decade ago that women were prohibited from driving in Saudi Arabia.

I will be honest. You are right.

The first thing I do when I wake up is to check to see what the world thinks of us.

Then I remember...it doesn't make a difference if they do or they don't.

It doesn't affect my life at all.

Don't pretend you actually worry about it either.
