Really? Local republicans might do their best to be pro small business but as they go up in rank and the stakes go higher and allegiances change drastically, same in both parties. Money now takes precedent over all else (morals, standards, past alliances, common decency) and small money don’t add up fast enough for the big dogs. They gotta eat!
Covid and the mismanagement ruined a lot of things (restaurants being one my pet peeves but my kids were out of school by then) and like with everything, it starts at the top. Not middle management, not with advisors, the top, the decision makers. Plenty of blame to spread but many of the mistakes were made out of an over abundance of caution, but at least those people tried. They took it seriously.
Two of my pet peeves is three friends died after they took the jab. Plus, I lost everything for saying no. At least Dr. Evil tried to kill us all and he took that job very seriously.
