Related the stats posted in the CDC showed the vast vast majority of people had no risk. dad assured us with his math chops we didn't understand those numbers.

Fauci told us masks work. His own CDC had decades of studies showing they didn't work. His own diary said masks don't work. He went on TV saying they do work. dad followed right along. Told us that despite the CDC publishing decades of report showing they don't work...suddenly they did.

Fauci told us to stand 6ft apart. Turns out he made up that number. dad believed that number because as a high school math teacher he had an understanding of things we didn't. We questioned where this made up number came from. dad without reasoning just believed it.

Fauci told us the jab prevented infection and transmission. dad agreed. When we pointed out the stats published by the CDC showed this could not be true...dad again told us the experts and his math chops were the real answer.

Fauci tried to ostracize well respected scientists who didn't fall in line. dad also believed anyone who disagreed was a crank and bad expert. Turns out those who disagreed were right.

And the list goes on.
 
As you know, I’ve been on the road all summer. I met an older woman in Iowa a few wks back, she owns a few road side motels. She hasn’t voted in over 20 years. She’s generally sick of all things politics. But she said she’s voting this year bcuz of Trump. ONLY bcuz of Trump. She’s voting this year bcuz her father, a WW II veteran who passed away 24 yrs ago, loved this country & served this country, and she said he’d be sickened by what Trump is doing to this country. She told me that Trump is the very thing her father fought against in WW II. She’s voting Democrat up & down the ballot, she doesn’t know the first thing about where Democrats are these days, but she doesn’t care. She’s voting 💯 AGAINST Trump & Republicans. She said she hasn’t been this angry about politics ever. -Joe Walsh
