Hear me out on this...this is a horrible idea. It would have an immediate negative impact on the economy that we don't need right now.

What the administration should do is just cutoff all federal funding to sanctuary cities. It's a simple equation, if you're not going to cooperate with federal authorities you don't get federal money. You wouldn't give your kid a bunch of money if they were continuely disobeying you.

Yeah, I can’t help but think this is a negotiating ploy. While I believe you are correct that it will have a negative impact on the economy, Trump may be doing it because he believes it will affect the politicians themselves in a very personal, painful way. We already know the Left could not care less about working people. They are only motivated when they are personally affected.
