No, confirmation bias is seeking out only that which you agree with to back your pre-conceived ideas while ignoring contradictory evidence. You are welcome to present contradictory evidence instead of constantly avoiding the subject matter.

I do find it ironic that the Pope who leads the largest child sexual abuse network (and arguably the largest adult mental abuse network) in the world thinks he has the moral high ground to criticize anyone.
