Wow, talk about a gut punch. Tesla wanted to give everyone free energy and look what happen to him. Jesus wanted everyone free and forgiven and he was tortured and then killed. Remember how the Dems said the Affordable Care Act would work? On most on the right said it would become very expensive.

Today Dems are mad that Repubs do not want to extend temporary subsidies. Without those subsidies the true cost of Obamacare becomes apparent, painful and unaffordable for many.

Dems for decades have refused to look at or vote on any market based options that bring competition to the field to help lower prices.

When O care went through my rates doubled and I had less choices. Suddenly a family of 5 was stuck with almost 19k in premium a year.

Praise God and his amazing Son Yeshua. Yeshua was the ONE who brought the Christ. The leaders of his day hated him so much they killed him, gnashed their teeth at him, hissed at him and spit on him. All Yeshua did was spread love, joy, peace, kindness, forgiveness, patience and self-control. You conveniently left out 15 years of Republican undermining of ACA through legislative changes, executive actions, and ongoing legal challenges designed to weaken its consumer protections, reduce enrollment, and cut funding.

That, and what is the Republican plan? They have been opposed to everything from “Hillarycare” to the ACA without any alternative beyond “concepts of a plan”.

Republicans like to say the democrats only policy is being anti-Trump without a substantial policy plan . . . yet that’s been the Republican stance on healthcare reform for almost 30 years. Anti without an alternative.

Seems the Republican strategy of undermining something then saying it doesn’t work is a major part of their playbook.

That's 30 YEARS ago. Thirty years Republicans have been promising a healthcare plan. They don't even have a draft. They don't even have a concept of a draft. They tell us they're going to replace the ACA with something better, but they have NOTHING and they've always had nothing.

That's what Republican promises are worth, nothing.

This is true of everything.

Remember the Republican Infrastructure plan? Gonna be ready in two weeks. Two weeks. Two weeks. Never happened. They never even came up with a rough draft. They literally did nothing. Energy? Education? Homelessness? Trump claims he "rebuilt the military" but he never actually did anything. There was NEVER any legislation. Nothing. It was all a lie.

The only thing these stupid, greedy, selfish assholes have done is give billionaires more money.

The government has been shut down now for 38 days. The last time the House did anything was over 50 days ago. Trump hasn't signed legislation into law in two months, because there isn't any. According to the Congressional database, the last bill signed into law was the Homebuyers Privacy Protection Act on September 05, 2025. So far, the 119th Congress has managed to pass twelve -- TWELVE -- total acts of legislation into law.

Twelve. That's it.

Meanwhile, Americans are standing in lines like proles in the old Soviet Union, begging for food and shoes -- and the Trump Administration is literally in court right now fighting for Trump's right to make Americans go hungry as some sort of punishment.

Republicans CANNOT, WILL NOT, govern.

They are utterly and provably incapable of it. Hell, Trump can't even run a casino, let alone a government. They can't keep the the lights on. They can't do even the most basic things like pass a budget. They simply cannot govern. They're not capable of it.

They're pirates. A government of corporate raiders. They don't build anything. They don't create anything. They pollute the seas and the air, burn the lands, and leave a disaster for someone else to clean up. They liquidate a couple of divisions. They sell off a brand. They layoff a couple hundred thousand. And then they cash out, claim their bonuses, and fly away oblivious to the wreckage and misery below.

John Thune called the Senate into session today. Bunch of rich doddering old bastards had to come in on a Saturday to work instead of golf, imagine that.

That's where Trump is right now, you know. Golfing in Florida. But I digress.

Not that the Senate has accomplished anything. If you've been watching, all they've done is spend the day making speeches criticizing the Affordable Care Act, parroting Trump's complaints earlier today like good little toadies, and offering absolutely NOTHING in its place.

Republicans will tell you over and over government is broken, and they should know.
