Without the inclusion of the work force in the gains experienced in American manufacturing and financial growth in the past 70 years you wouldn’t be in the financial spot you are now. Exactly, unions were valuable 70 years ago but given comprehensive government protections now they're irrelevant and only promote mediocrity. I feel sorry for those in unions that give up their individual employment rights to groupthink and union politics. I guess some people don't have the self worth or skill to negotiate their own employment.
