Federal judge dismisses James Comey, Letitia James indictments​

Judge Cameron Currie found that Lindsey Halligan could not charge James Comey and Letitia James because she was an invalid U.S. attorney​

 
Now that Halligan has been shown to be an unethical and incompetent attorney, perhaps some who sat opposite her in insurance cases (her previous specialty) might seek to reopen and examine some of their cases against her (that's assuming she ever won one of her insurance cases).

Oglala Lakota County, South Dakota, is a reliably blue county, with residents predominantly voting for the Democratic Party in presidential elections. In the 2024 presidential election, Kamala Harris (D) won the county with approximately 84% of the vote. They are also the county who has the highest use of SNAP in the country..
