Today in Fascism

FYI, I just learned from Wolf Blitzer that the extension of the ACA subsidies that the Dems are blocking the funding of the government for, that the expiration of those subsidies at the end of year was set by the Dems in the "Inflation Reduction Act". So the Dems are closing government to try an extend an expiration that they set.
In fairness, Wolf is still trying to find electoral college votes for Hillary.

Yep. Kind of funny.

They voted for something and told the public that this part of the inflation reduction act would only be temporary.

Concessions are how bills get passed . . .

Makes as much sense as anything they do though, right?

This must be the inflation Husker was talking about...

Gas prices have dropped under $3 a gallon nationwide for the first time since 2020.

According to GasBuddy's head of petroleum analysis Patrick De Haan, the national average hit $2.99 on Monday.

During Biden's tenure, gas prices soared to record highs, peaking at $4.60 a gallon in 2022 -- a 45 percent increase from when he took office.

It's standard "anti-Trump" policy. Ironically, he has more control over liberals than he does MAGA.
Leftists (not liberals who, as a group, have historically supported free speech) have a penchant for bringing triggered. They are basically trained to be that way - desiring “trigger warnings” and “safe spaces” for their safety. It’s also at the core of their inability to debate. Anyone that disagrees is harming them with their “violent” words. The Left has weaponized mental illness.

10 year treasury and 30 mortgage rates are down 60 basis points since Trump took office. Egg prices are down to $1.15 per dozen from $6.55 on inauguration day. Steel is down 10%. Most commodity prices are down. Dow up 7%, Nasdaq up 15%.

Employment is sketchy.

I hope you're enjoying your gas prices in Arizona. California is currently 60% higher than the national average. Predictions are for $8+ per gallon in California for 2026.

It sounds like a mental illness. Can they take happy pills to to combat their TDS?

I went inside to Taco Bell yesterday and stood for 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. A nice sweet lady asked me if I was ok and I said, "I am and I'm ready to place my order." She laughed and said, "oh dear, you need to order for yourself over here." My gosh, no one is going to have a job soon.

P.S. I wanted taco bell ever since @kickingandscreaming brought up his favorite midnight snack. I told myself its ok for a little cheat day and I went for it. I went to Stater Bros after and picked up some Dads Rootbeer and some real vanilla Ice Cream and made a killer float. Now, I'm back on my healthy eating habits for 30 days straight. I will look to cheat on my bday night😉
