What does that have to do with AP Psychology?

Next time I coach a team at Surf Cup, I want you to guest play for us in goal. You're the master of deflection and I want to be ready if it goes to PKs.

It has everything to do with Psychology. People are done with you liberals pushing your mentally ill agendas and validating that mental illness by accepting ludicrous concepts in the interest of feelings. All this bullshit you dreamed up the last 5-years, like saying men can menstruate, a single person needing to put "they" as their pronoun on emails or saying "If I identify as a female squirrel, you have to let me use the female squirrel locker room or I'm going to publicly shame you. And you have 90-days to put a female squirrel bathroom in your restaurant or I'll sue you." Teach real science in public schools, stop catering to the mentally ill and stop using K-12 to push groomer agendas. Let college unicorns take those 'electives' on mom & dad's money.

It's moronic and society is stupid enough already. Time to make sanity common again.

To begin with, the content of what is taught in AP Psychology is well-defined. None of your nonsense is included. Your bias against excellence in education has been noted.

In addition, you didn't hear any of that stuff from me.

1. It comes from the party you support. Just stop with the "I'm an independent" nonsense. You aren't.
2. The article YOU posted literally states, "We are sad to have learned that today the Florida Department of Education has effectively banned AP Psychology in the state by instructing Florida superintendents that teaching foundational content on sexual orientation and gender identity is illegal under state law,” the College Board said in a statement.

Gender identity? It's amazing how, for hundreds of years, gender was incredibly clear. Yet now we say people can just claim whatever gender they choose and have legal documents to support it. So if you're born with a penis, you can legally change your identity to female. No, sorry... your insanity won't be tolerated in our public schools. It's incredibly stupid already.

I don't support any party. In fact, I even oppose the 2-party system as we have it since it just serves to reinforce the partisan abuses obvious to anyone with half a brain.

Funny... you're only critical of 1 party. You, me and everyone on this thread knows it. Time to maybe be a little honest with yourself.

How many times have you bashed the former president versus the current one? Self explanatory. I've yet to see you post one negative thing about Biden, Harris or Pelosi.

I suppose it is important to your self-image to ignore the many posts I have made criticizing Democrats and supporting Republicans.

Please continue.

Can you reference one of those? My self-image really has a need to apologize for being wrong.
I have criticized Democrats Nathan Fletcher and Bob Filner. I was going to vote for John McCain until that Palin silliness hit, and I did vote for Republican Mayor Kevin Faulconer when I lived in the city of San Diego. I also have a bit of admiration for Republican governor Phil Scott of Vermont, who is, as far as I know, the only governor of any state to win a NASCAR-sanctioned race while in office.

There are more, but any penetration is sufficient to complete the act.

The magas in here don’t want discussion, grasping that gray areas exist isn’t their thing. They just want to argue in an attempt to feel better about themselves.

Yeah, you keep bringing up Nathan Fletcher. Nobody outside San Diego knows who he is. I doubt half of San Diego does. Nobody under 30-years old knows who Filner is.

I'm talking about the ass clowns running this country and directly affecting all of us. You remember Biden, right? He's the one spending our tax dollars on illegal aliens, college deadbeats and the war you Trump haters said Donald would get us in. What are your thoughts about that?

The Over/Under on you popping up within the hour just paid me $20. Thanks.

I'm up for discussion. Can YOU name 1 thing Biden has done well in 2-1/2 years?

I finally remember where I've seen you and CISker Du before...

I don't know the context within in which it will be taught, but in and of itself, I don't see the issue with analyzing gender dysphoria in an advanced high school Psychology class. It's age appropriate and not an uncommon mental issue. Discussing it isn't endorsing it. Nor is avoiding it going to make it go away. Psychopathy is a psychological issue, but no one thinks discussing is going to normalize it or encourage people to become a psychopath.

Of course, it will be depend how its being taught, and I can fully understand that you don't want to give educators the benefit of the doubt, but I don't think dismissing it out of hand is the right approach. Nor do I think making a centerpiece of someone's political campaign is a wise strategy. To me it comes off as phobic and we have much more pressing issues.

Or we can pretend it doesn't exist and/or is part of a sinister plot to threaten real men's images of themselves.

I'll meet you halfway on it. First, we're talking about something fairly new. It's only been in the last couple of years that people started saying it's "offensive" to question whether men can get pregnant, puberty blockers are 'life saving' and males should be allowed to compete in female sports. Prior to that, Wat, we had actual sanity. Not perfection, but sanity. With the advent of social media and the Woke Army, sensibility and the real world have taken a back seat to "what can it harm if John wants to be Joan and shower with the ladies?"

Second, in the hostile political climate we're in right now, there needs to be some kind of Mendoza Line. Frankly, I don't agree with you in it being age appropriate... but primarily because I don't think high schoolers should be spending time on this subject matter. I think it's perfectly appropriate to make it available as an elective in college. I'd love to give high school educators the benefit of the doubt but we can't. It's been proven, time and time again the last few years, that personal and political agendas are becoming more prevalent. That's the charged world we live in. Half of my college professors were mentally or emotionally unstable. I knew it then, but that's what electives are for. In part, you choose what you're exposed to.

Personally, I'm neither homo nor trans phobic. I sound like I am, but it's only because I'm sick of having it shoved down my throat. I don't need to see your rainbow flag at every Portland Timbers game because I don't give a rat's ass that you're gay. Neither does anyone else, but you're an attention whore and have to throw your flag in the trunk. Just like nobody cares I'm straight. Right? And this whole 'transphobia' thing is the go to, $ .50 reply to everyone that refuses to call Jack Black in a dress, "ma'am." It's ridiculous. Live in whatever fantasy world you want, but when I see people putting their preferred pronouns on their emails, I can't help but roll my eyes.

We do have more pressing issues.

Or we can pretend it doesn't exist and/or is part of a sinister plot to threaten real men's images of themselves.

It didn't exist before. Men have never been able to get pregnant before. Women haven't had penises. What changed? Did mother nature... Sorry, "birthing person" nature make a bunch of changes during Covid and we missed it?

Men can't get pregnant. Males have a decidedly huge advantage in athletics. It's time to stop telling people pigs really can fly because they identify as pigs.
