Thanksgiving Surf challenge

ah, the old "best teams aren't the best teams" argument. One of my favorites - right behind the "control versus size and speed" excuse.

What's your take on this? I would love to read it.

You are right. The best team is Anaheim Surf.
Time will tell Anaheim Surf has some great Atheletes but best team...not too sure about that. They are made up predominately of the U10 Arsenal team last year. SD Surf is made up mostly of younger 2006 girls who played U9 and girls from 2 other clubs who are clicking. They have played 4 times this year: Tie first game SCDSL showcase, Anaheim won game 2 final Seattle, SD Surf beating them In Blues Cup final and tie in league...Good rivalry. Wouldn't be surprised to see round 5

Agree Legends is tough. SD Surf, Albion, Legends, Beach, Anaheim, Strikers are all legit and fun to watch

Group A & B well balanced with two top teams and two potential spoilers.

Group C, Group of Death, no questions.

In Group A Surf & Eagles to watch out for with FC Golden State looking to see how much they've closed the gap between themselves and the top 10 type teams.

Group B, Anaheim & Albion with maybe a wildcard coming from the group.

Group C, these teams are going to get the most bang for their buck even if they don't advance. I was very impressed by San Juan. They're fun to watch.

For CO Storm it seems like they are looking more at the GotSoccer rankings. Their ranked 15th Nationally on there, but 6792 of their 8474 points on GotSoccer come for finishing 2nd place in CSA 2016/2017 Colorado Champions League. Comparatively league results aren't posted for CAS teams.

After looking at some of the rankings within GotSoccer I don't really agree with how their ranking system works. One team I looked at who had a decent ranking spent the summer playing AYSO teams to gain points.

S21-your grouping looks like the group of death. As each of those teams is very talented. Your girls are certainly getting what you deserve in playing some quality competition. Best of luck!
