I don't agree with that comment from Charlie. I don't have empathy for Charlie. I'm happy for him because he's in paradise and with the holy angels and God. I don't agree that the consequences of his actions & words deserve assassination. I also don't believe it's good for his wife and children to not have Charlie around. I have empathy for his family not having a husband and father and I have empathy for those who were a part of Turning Point. I think this is a turning point in our country and a spotlight on how evil you truly are. Everyone can now see. So many people are waking up.
You need to look up the entire quote in context.

A lot of us can remember people like this yelling at us and telling us, "If you don't take the jabs, your fucking fired." Dad4 was all for it and so was EOTL and the leader of this group, espola. Thy also said we were a danger to society because we said no to the jabs and some us actually believe in Yeshua and freedom of choice and speech. What comes around is now going around. I saw one guy who is so upset with Scott that he threatened him online. I'm praying for Scott's safety. These people are now losing their jobs and money some people do crazy shit when they lose everything. They already lost the slush fund backstop and now their jobs are being taken away. I don't what folks to lose their job, but this is way bigger than crush and what crush thinks. I think it's a big-time teaching moment with mercy for some and some of these comments from teachers and doctors calls for absolutely being canned. These people are nuts and teaching our kids. I knew Big U was a Big pile of shit in certain areas on campus. Charlie said college is all a scam. I'm sure this pissed off the big wigs at these schools. It 100% can be a scam for some, but it's not always a scam. There is good and we need good and honest teachers that teach, not indoctrinate their insane beliefs unto our children and future leaders. We just need to get these brainwash losers out of the campuses. This is insane.

I see both sides are desperate to control the narrative;
Tyler Robinson, who turned himself in for murdering right wing activist Charlie Kirk, was not acting on left wing ideals but was deeply influenced by the far right “Groyper” movement led by Nick Fuentes. Robinson grew up in a MAGA household, his father was a police officer, and he was surrounded by guns from a young age. Family photos even show him dressed as Pepe the Frog for Halloween, a character that has become a Groyper mascot.

When police examined his ammunition, they discovered Robinson had scratched “Bella Ciao” onto a casing. Though the song began as an anti fascist anthem, it has been co-opted into the online ecosystem of Groypers and incels, and it even shows up on the “Groyper War” playlist on Spotify. This mix of memes, music, and menace reflects how the far right glamorizes violence and recruits followers while hiding behind irony.

Before any of this was known, Donald Trump blamed “the radical left” and Elon Musk claimed Democrats are “the party of murder.” Both owe the country an apology. The reality is a huge percentage of political violence in recent years has come from the right. Officials in Evergreen Colorado confirmed that the 16 year old boy who carried out a shooting just moments after Kirk's was ALSO radicalized online by far right propaganda. Conservatives need to face the truth that their MAGA movement with countless right wing dudebro podcasters is radicalizing an entire generation of young men across this country.
Lets pretend for a second that your liberal wet dream is actually true and not a complete fantasy. It doesn't change the fact that a whole legion of liberals have celebrated and/or rationalized Kirk's murder because they couldn't deal with an opposing opinion.

Meet Virginia.

She’s an immigration lawyer.

“He did deserve to be killed.”

“The world is a better place without Charlie Kirk.”

Her law firm website says, “the focus of her practice is to help those who are escaping violence.”

Cognitive dissonance.

Except for people like Charlie. These people are crazy and lawyers.

Have you seen how many active-shooters are white? It's not because their white or transgender its because they have mental illness.

On another note (since you're the firearms expert), how hard was the shot the assassin made? I've heard conflicting claims from TV "experts".
Skin color is irrelevant. The mental illness/trans issue is the source of the problem imho and seems to be a big trend lately with regard to active shooters. EVERY person or parent I've talked to with a kid going thru this..you could hear it in their voice or by the expressions on their face that it was a mental thing. (Granted there have only been a few..but they were all the same conversation.)

I'm no expert by any means. But just like @Desert Hound said..not very hard from that distance. 30.06 is a HUGE round with a really big kick. The same shot could've been made from that distance with an AR15. My own belief..and many others on the gun forums is that an experienced shooter would be aiming at the chest. The neck is too small of a target to try and hit. Head shot would be next and from that distance not that hard of a shot to make depending on conditions and the skill of the shooter. I highly doubt he meant to hit Kirk on one side of his neck. Just my .02
