T 2.0

Goose bumps. I got the chills and their multiplying. Old Glory is back where she belongs. I watched some flag burning last week that, frankly, pissed me off. This is a very important moment in our country. Our country was stolen as we worked our asses off trying to pay our bills and we had no idea.

Oh my gosh:eek::eek::eek::eek: I don't have a doomsday plane to get away, but I think it's good that Trump has one. They & Them are in hot pursuit to take him out. I will just lay low, pray and hope for the best. I'm prepared for the worst though. I love you all and good luck everyone🙏

White House (President) just posted this. Buckle up folks and espola, remember your oath or else. That is a mandate directly to you, sir!!!

"We affirm with unwavering certainty that in the years ahead, and in every generation hence, whenever duty calls and whatever danger comes, the American soldier will be there. No matter the risk... they will seize the crown of victory." The Commander in Chief of the United States Military

Nothing says balanced reporting like saying “your job is not to be objective” 😂😂😂

These guys are losers K & S, just like espola and Husker Du or should just say, "Terry & Jim" instead of Dumb and Dumber or Larry & Curly. What a moron Moran is, and Acosta is a low life scum bag!!! By the way, these losers don't give two shits about immigrants. They use them and then mock them.

I'm fine with ID for voting. It should be mandated that every HS student is issued with ID once they hit 18, assuming they don't already have a driver's license, where it should state if they are a citizen or not. Let's keep those databases accurate and up to date. Everyone else should present themselves with their current ID to validate they are a citizen or should be allowed to get one, free obviously as there can be no "poll tax" on voting, on proving citizenship. This should be easy and convenient for everyone.

I'm also down with only voting in person and on election day. To achieve that, elections should be mandated as public holidays - everything shuts. It would be illegal for an employer to interfere in preventing an employee from voting. Voting centers should be setup relative to population, i.e. a consistent ratio of center to population density. There should also be transport (free) available to/from voting centers for those who are mobility impaired or where distance is an issue (like rural areas or reservations etc). Centers should not close if people are still waiting to vote.

I'm even down with the Australian system where you are mandated to vote, enrollment is automatic, and can be fined if you do not. They have participation rates of 90% or so.

There is zero chance any of the above happens, esp. the last one because neither party wants 90% of people voting, that's their nightmare scenario.

High numbers of voter participation and ID systems etc. are all solved problems. Our pols don't want any of those solutions, esp. the 90% participation rate one :)eek:), so spare me the party political about this.
I don't want 90% of people voting, either. I only want people voting if they have SOME education on the issues at hand. A coupon for "a free Grand Slam at Denny's if you vote" is our worst nightmare.

I don't think you and I are that far apart but you're insulting all of us by saying you don't know why Biden did what he did with the border.

On a side note of race card games, I do have a true story. I've might have shared this years ago when Dre was on here but I have to share. Me and Bruno sold Sparkletts water door to door to businesses. One summer we went from San Clemente to Santa Monica on PCH and did very well. One city, Newport Beach was a little rough for Bruno. I would take one side of PCH and he took the other. 3 hours in of getting rejected and told to get lost 90% of the time, I saw Bruno looking discouraged. I got three sales already and I asked him, "Hey bro, how many you got?" He looked at me and said, none, most lock doors before I can enter. You see, this was during the LA Riots and folks were scared of big, black and handsome black guys. I felt embarrassed by my people, and I told him we go together and share. We got 3 more so we each got three sales that day and took off early at 2 and I taught him how to swim in the ocean. He was afraid of sharks and what was under the water and after my teaching, he became one hell of a boogie boarder. We laugh all the time about our days working in South OC. Working together and sharing is the key to success.
