Yep, the Dems only hope is colossal failure by the Trump administration and not some miraculous rising of the Dem Phoenix. The problem with that is that in many cases Trump failure means American failure. The Tesla Takedown is a prime example of this mentality. Tesla and electric cars, once the darling of the left's Green policy, is now in the crosshairs of the Dem's for the sole reason of their hatred for Musk.
As far as EO's go and their constitutional validity, at least Trump's EO's are an attempt to improve things, and not merely an attempt to buy votes like Biden's student loan forgiveness (use of whataboutism for contrast). Spare me the argument that voter ID is an attempt to disenfranchise minority voters, that's pure bullshit. (You remember when the Dem's cried about the new Georgia laws being obstacles to minority voters, how'd that workout? With record turnout) BTW, if it makes you feel any better, I think Trump is on very shaky legal ground invoking the Alien Enemies Act.
Ironically you criticize hyperbole and in the same post spew it yourself. I'm not a bible scholar, but I don't recall there being detailed graphic descriptions or drawings of sex acts in the bible. I don't see "lay with", "seed", "breasts" and "harlots" as being particularly graphic as opposed to (and this is the tame shit) “perhaps the most important skill you will master as a gay or bi man is the timeless classic, the handjob.” or “Something they don’t teach you in school, is that in order to be able to cum at all, you or your partner may need to finish off with a handy.” Also calling them banned books is hyperbole. We don't call R rated movies, banned movies. Both the books and the movies can be obtained by parents and shared with their children in the privacy of their own home. They're far from banned. That having been said, I firmly believe the bible and concepts of a supreme being are more appropriately discussed, read and analyzed at the the teen age or later. But I'm agnostic so take that with a grain of salt.
