"The UN's vote for their "Net-Zero Framework," a set of regulations on international shipping (read here: a tax...the FIRST tax the UN will have ever tried to impose BTW), intended to "reduce greenhouse gas emissions".
Never mind that man-caused global warming is a scam. Always has been. The EU is balls to the wall still pushing this failed/faux/imagined crisis on us because, of course, they are.
Will it fix anything? No. But it will make all the members of the elitist/globalist cabal get much richer and more powerful. Which, if we can just be honest, was always both the reason and the goal behind the operation to begin with.
Trump is the X factor because he just made clear that not only is the US a 'hard no', but he'd impose stiff penalties (likely tariffs) on member countries that vote yes in retaliation. His position, and most would agree, is that America isn't about to have international bodies taxing us.
Unfortunately for them, Trump isn't hesitant to threaten and (this is the impt part) actually employ leverage in this manner. And they know it too. Trust me.
That said, who knows what's going to go down at the vote in London tomorrow. The globalists would love nothing more than to stick it to Trump given how successful he's been crushing their agenda here and worldwide.
But they also know that he'd punch them square in the mush twice as hard in return for having done so. And they're all suffering back home as it is, what with their decades long horrible leftist mismanagement their own nations interests...and for that matter, the entire continents. They're not operating with much rope as it is.
So, who's gonna blink?
