And the Dem's screamed that Abbott had no right to secure the border because it's a Federal issue, but it's perfectly OK to have sanctuary cities and states. Of course, it helped Trump win the Texas border county votes despite the fact that the counties were overwhelmingly Hispanic.

It's fascinating to see how white liberals have picked up the causes of minorities in some cases more vocally and aggressively than the actual minorities. Is that not cultural misappropriation? It's so hard to keep track of the rules these days!

Sedona is a little remote but lovely. I plan to be a lounge lizard in Scottsdale. White socks, Birkenstocks and nothing but Tommy Bahama shirts. Street tacos and margaritas at 9 pm for dinner every night. Got it all planned out.

That's almost as good as sending them to knock on the door of Heels Up Harris in D.C. Rumor has it she'd just left for a short walk. (Yes, I'm posting it again because it never gets old).

One thing about the Mamdani victory is that he and his voters have screwed Dems that are going to run for office in the next couple of years. You can't dismiss the fact that the Mayor of New York is one of the most prominent political positions in the US, maybe not one of the most important or impactful, but certainly very prominent, and this guy and his supporters just rang the bell on blatant socialist policies. Future Dem candidates are going to have to answer for that (because Republicans will keep asking) and politicians are very poor at distancing themselves from others in their own party. They might not be able to un ring that bell. Any idea of resurrecting a sane Dem party has been postponed.
