I'm not chanting "lock him up". I'm just asking whether he is an appropriate choice for AG. At the time of nomination, he was under investigation by the house ethics committee and has almost no legal experience.

It's a horrible pick, and you know it. Unqualified and has multiple legal issues of his own to face. If Gaetz were a Democrat, everyone here would be all over this, and crush would be posting eight times a day calling him a pedophile.

Most of those that lean right think he's a terrible choice, and I stated it previously. There are Republican Congressmen that have spoke out against Gaetz. When has the left acknowledged that any of Biden's cabinet have done a terrible job, and were never qualified for the job in the first place?

It's a fair criticism. I admit that Levine and Harris were both poor choices, but I don't count myself as leftist.

The left pays far too much attention to identity check boxes, and it really hurts them.

While you're at it, ask "while Biden was declining, why did no one on the left say anything until after the debate?" Dean Phillips had a spine, but no one else did.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg. Quite frankly no one expects anything from the VP, and Harris delivered. Levine is hard to look up, but I'm not aware she screwed anything up. I do expect cabinet picks to protect us internationally and internally...Blinken and Mayorkas failed miserably. Yellen "inflation is transitory" and Granholm "thinks high oil prices are funny, but there is nothing you can do about it", Buttigeg "I'm on vacation", Austin "AWOL".
