I didn't say to prevent them from being wealthy. I said stop them from getting rich. You know exactly what I'm talking about. You can't stop Donald Trump from being wealthy at birth, but you can stop Donkey faced AOC going from bartender to millionaire because of donations and insider trading. Power is one thing. Everyone elected to the "top" of an organization has power.

How is AOC getting away with hiding the millions on her financial disclosure reports to Congress?

You may of course be confusing her campaign fund with her personal wealth .. or just taking some random X poster comments as facts, 🤷‍♂️.

How do you propose to stop businessmen from giving insider information in exchange for regulatory favors?

It’s already illegal. And we do enforce the law. Yet it still happens.

So what’s your solution?

There are proposals, such as requiring all politicians to sell their assets and put the results into blind trusts. But I somehow doubt you favor that one.

It's not illegal. They're allowed to do it now... even though people like us are not. And if you're caught leaking insider information, it has to be punitive to them like it is us. No more Hunter Biden rule. Hold them accountable with prison. Those people aren't being held accountable.

I'm not in favor of making people sell their assets. Being a politician shouldn't be punitive, but people like Nancy Pelosi have abused the system for years, by running it through her husband, and that's the 'loophole' that needs to be changed. If you want to believe Barack Obama became a multimillionaire by selling books and getting paid $400k per speaking engagement, so be it. I can accept that. Joe Biden didn't get to be a millionaire by being a civil servant at $250k per year. That dipshit couldn't read a book let alone write one.
