I saw that too and wondered what recourse Congress would have if he did claim the 5th during any questioning. It would be entertaining watching them try to figure out what he's claiming the 5th for (as he has immunity) as he claims the 5th in answer to any questions. You can't ask the Sargeant at arms to arrest him for claiming a constitutional right and can't charge him for anything in the 10 year period so it would be like a perpetual loop.

PS not sure what point it would serve going after him and Biden will probably be in the grave by the time they ever get to him, or mentally incapacitated (as he supposedly is now anyway) at least so why bother.

McConnell also. I’m not for hard age limits. I’d like an annual cognitive test that every lawmaker/justice takes regardless of age. Testing should also be required anytime a brain injury event occurs.

You don't think they'd find some way to fake the results of a cognitive test? They were lying about Biden's decline for years. How hard is it to wait for a good day, pump him full of red bull, and have his doctor feed him the answers? Because that's what they'd do.

Just make it by age. We have thousands of young people who are more than capable. We didn't need to squeeze every last coherent moment out of Diane Feinstein and Strom Thurmond. If Reid and McConnell each retire with a few marbles left, that's not a bad thing.
