I never heard of anyone worrying about attending a rival clubs camp. I wouldn't wear your current club's swag or talk a lot about it, because there are parents out there with nothing better to do, but you (at the very least) might consider messaging the club secretary or DOC for clarification. That is, unless you think that might backfire. What you're doing is no different than working out with a private trainer.Can a player who is signed with a comp club attend another clubs summer camp? Nor Cal Premier. Is it frowned upon? We have a five week break and he’ll miss playing. I can’t find the answer to this one. Thanks!
Ok thank you! We are somewhat new to comp and don’t want to stir up any…..drama. Although that seems easy to do! Just not sure of the politics of it all. Good luck on your journey. Best advice I can give, as we've aged out of comp into college, is it's a marathon... not a race. Try to spend time enjoying it while you're in the moment. We didn't do enough of that. It's loaded with politics, jealousy and unkept promises and all of those things will kill your kid's spirit if you don't keep it all in perspective.Ok thank you!
