Orange county summer camp recs?

Anyone have suggestions on summer camps around the Irvine area for a b2013 f1 kid? Specifically looking into the 2 Nike camps (IVC + Liverpool), Ba Academy, and UCI. If anyone has experience/feedback around these pls share thank you!

I'm sure in the Irvine area, Pats, Liverpool, Strikers all will have their own camps...

As well as OC Premier will have their futsal camps...

Any one know if LA FC camp at Great Park is any decent from previous year's experienced? I believe they have that last week of June.
Is it going to be a mass of kids / too many kids / kids just learning soccer?

There's also a Nike camp down in Lake Forest with Prospect Soccer. Think that's 1st and 3rd weeks of June.

UCI camps any decent? My kids aren't old enough for the technical skills camp (12+ years old) so they'd need to go to the one with all ages/skill levels and wondering if anyone's done that and if that's worth it?

I have a 10 and a 13 year old. We have done many of the local camps (Irvine, Lake Forrest etc) over the past 5 years and my conclusion is that they are mostly the same for kids under 13. Pick one that you have a few friends going to so you can arrange carpools.

Exceptions would be the Barca camp. We did it 2 years in a row and hosted coaches from overseas which was an awesome experience. Probably better than the camp itself.

Barca camp is probably the worst camp we have attended. You have to do it once to see how much time wasting one can do playing the Barca song and having daily assemblies to talk about how great Barca is. I am a Barca fan and I was turned off by it.
We have done the Liverpool camps a few times. There are usually a few high level kids in the camp. Liverpool academy coaches have their own higher level camp for their academy EA/EA2 players, you have to ask to get access to it.

Would highly recommend Ba in general, great guy. Great camps.

UCI camp is excellent, strong players and full day.

Nike camps IMO overpriced and lower quality of player. Tons of daycare/one year of AYSO. Better to pick somewhere cheaper instead.

Would agree Barca is bad—the pitch of traveling coaches is cool but there are so many kids who never played before.

Think about Atletico Madrid, same traveling coach thing but way fewer beginners than Barca for obvious reasons.

And yes OC premier if you can make it work (most of the camps are not in OC). Highest level players by far, consistent coaching standard, and it’s futsal so it’s better to begin with.
