Gmiller part deux
BRONZE
The seedings are not correct. They have a lot of teams playing other teams from the same groups. This should be changed during the first part of the week.
Did all of the Team's that had byes make it to next weekend?Weeks? That's right it's been weeks since some of these teams have played. I know for a fact the tempo has picked up and it's hard to match opponents speed and or strength in a scrimmage setting. Rain might take the whole bye advantage away for some teams.

As they should have yes.Did all of the Team's that had byes make it to next weekend?
Soccer123 I was right about the rust.Did all of the Team's that had byes make it to next weekend?
This isn't right, the website said top 2 teams from each bracket make it out. FC Golden State came in 2nd in group F, Arsenal SD came in 3rd. You can't change the rules mid way through the tournament
Whats going on here Cal South?????
CS does stuff like this ever year it seems. Instead of top 2 they are going with 16 wildcards now might change or not, never know with them:

They way they stacked the top of the ladder 1-4 doesn't make a lot of sense either but every year they do sometime different, consistently is not there strong suite but to be the best doesn't matter when or who you play,
Not to mention both Beach teams (DeMelo and Hodson) are slated to play the 2nd place teams from their Round 2 brackets. That makes NO sense....
One thing is for sure, there is lots of talent at the 03 age group that is not currently playing on an ECNL team.
Just quick little more on OVC or Oranje. As posted before we are an El Cajon team east of San Diego, which has United, Hotspurs, CSC and Liverpool with in a five mile radius. Half the team this year were on age other half moved up with the new age recruitment. We played SDDA flight one, and had 2 games forfeited in beg of season on a processing error with a transfer player back on the team. Thus we would of finished 2nd since we had won both those games. The coach Will is also director of the club. The games vs Sharks and Albion were tough fought games and we were able to pull out the win. As mention before we do have a nice top player, but really our defense has what been our biggest strength so far.
Sorry to hear about your daughter, was a fun game, I was hoping we were going to pull the tie off, but giving up 15 corner kicks, odds were you going to make one. Good luck to your team, have some great skill on that team.Congrats advancing out of group play and giving Legends a run for our money. My DD will not be playing the rest of the cup due to injury.
Sorry to hear that Keeper pops. Cheering for a speedy recovery. My DD will not be playing the rest of the cup due to injury.
I agree there are a few girls that are ecnl quality, but a low percentage for sure out on silver lake fieldsI had forgotten how much size the Beach Hodson team has all over the pitch. Going to be a tough out for any of their future opponents.
Got to watch parts of two Legends Academy games this weekend. That team is so tenacious out there on the pitch. I could see a deep run for them too.
Good luck to all remaining teams. One thing is for sure, there is lots of talent at the 03 age group that is not currently playing on an ECNL team.
