Let's Hear from the Moms

My kid is an ayso ref who has just started centering for his service hours. I won’t let him cr unless im present (or a higher ranked ref) as his supervisor. This youth ref is lucky she’s had crs that have watched out for her because unless you are qualified and wearing the uniform you can’t do anything about it as a parent.
Sure you can. I did. When some fat bastard looking 'father' tried to tell my daughter she needed to learn how the offside rule works as an AR, I politely told him a college player probably knows the rule better than a sweaty, lard ass douchebag making $40k a year and, if he had any questions or needed clarification, I'd gladly review the rule with him in the parking lot. My favorite part was watching his wife tell him to shut up.

1. I couldn’t make such a threat stick
2. Could you make that threat stick because he’s “a sweaty, lard ass douchebag”? Same threat against a 6’4” gangster daddy baller gym rat?
3. What about a coach? Back when I was doing club I once had a coach go off on me as a new ar over whether a ball was fully out.
4. If he takes you up on it, it’s a crime you know
5. Daddy’s looking out for their little girls are a big part of the problem with the girls game. I point out you showed the same behavior defending a no longer minor but now young adult.

Of course I could. Muscle heads tire and fatigue easily. You have to draw that one out a little but then there's always the knees and throat.

I don't go off on coaches. Coaches can easily be found at a later date. My first play for a coach would be through his club and, if they do nothing, through his pride.

It's not a crime if he takes me up on it. There will be no witnesses or witnesses will see him come at me first. If he's stupid enough to meet me out there, he's stupid enough to throw the first punch. And I don't know what "a no longer minor" person you're talking about.

This is 1000% true. I've seen dad's run on the field when they think their daughter was fouled too roughly. Then once on the field push the little girl they felt accosted their princess. It resulted in both teams parents running on the field and 3-4 fights that needed to be seperated. The parent that ran on the field first should have been charged criminally. The guy was such a douche.

Once girls hit u14 nobody is running on the field anymore. Unfortunately the girls are the ones attacking each other at this age and up. I guess thats a little "better".

“A college player probably knows the rule…”
Yeah, my daughter, but if some slob was going after ANY referee, especially a young one, I'd leave him for dead in the parking lot. In this case, his wife could have called a tow truck for him.

You put people to sleep, too, Grace, but you do it with novels.
