My name on my private adoption papers through foster care is, "Baby Boy Kirk." Yup, my biological mother was Scottish, and her ancestors are Scottish Highlanders and escaped the abusers in late1700s and went to North Carolina. I hear my dad was a surfer from Huntington Beach and the original New Wave Dave, see pic
Origin The word "kirk" comes from the Old Norse word kirkja and the Scottish Gaelic eaglais, both meaning "church" or "place of worship" Back in the old days, they would go to "Kirks" or some would call Pubs and talk it up and debate the current affairs of their time. I know 100% they were not debating if a man can be a woman back in the old days.
There is no 'Kirk aftermath' Mr. Math Professor and retired US Navy Vet. Aftermath is a bad choice of words. Nice try loser.
"An aftermath is the consequences or results that follow a significant, often negative or destructive, event. The term can refer to the immediate period after a disaster, the lingering effects, or the state of affairs that results from it."
I would change thread title to the "Kirk Beginning." Charlies' life is a celebration of free speech and what happens to those who speak out against those on campus getting brainwashed.
I know of three people (one a close family member) who have eaten crow the last three days and have turned to Christ. I also know a few atheists who are rethinking that belief. You and Husker Du are actually helping God spread the Good News with all your hate and deceit. Keep it going because God works out everything for the good of those who love God, Romans 8.
